I used the utility to install the modules and then used motomizer to overclock and worked for me on 309

The utility for 3.0.9 is up! I've removed the option to install the overclocking modules since they were included in the last update. I added an underclock option for 1000mhz.
Let me know if you have any issues with it!

Thanks for the quick response!
I have a question about the overclocking options ... the Aviator utility indicates that SetCPU is needed, but the ROM aready has No-frills CPU Control included (which can also be used for overclocking, and some say its a better approach than SetCPU). So, is it possible to use the overclocking capabilities provided by No-frills instead of installing SetCPU?
Thanks again!

You can try it. The problem we had when the modules were first released for .16 was that the max frequency wouldn't hold when the screen was turned on and off. SetCPU was used to have a profile that would set the max frequency when the screen was turned on. I'm not sure No frills has that option. I put the latest modules in 3.0.9 so it might not have that issue, but I don't over clock myself so I haven't tried it. Let me know how you get on

HEY ZK,
Long time since I've been over here to droidrzr. Unfortunately about 4-5 months ago my new employment provided me with an iphone 5 all free of charge including the bill. I couldn't turn it down so I have been an apple guy. Have to say it runs wicked fast , but absolutely no customization like android devices. Anyways I still have my droid and my two daughters use it to play games, youtube, etc. and I was running Aviator blur 3.03 and it started getting pretty laggy. So i downloaded the new 3.09 yesterday and its running fine just I cant get the clock widget to work from the settings menu. Settings forces close every time. I haven't been here in a while so let me know if it is a known problem. Thanks and glad to be back.

Just don't stay an apple guy
Was it a clean flash? Deleted the ROM slot, etc? Otherwise, have you tried to add the widget from the home screen?

Thanks. Which version of No Frills is included? I see it in my Play Store, but it doesn't show any buttons (neither the usual Open or Uninstall buttons). I can access it via System Settings, Aviator Tools, but there are no overclocking frequencies available to be selected (only frequencies at or below rated frequency).

You need to use the utility to change the frequency settings. Or you can go to system/etc/init.d/16Modules and edit that script. Then they will become available to select.
Those options aren't available in the play store since it is a system app. I made it a system app because if it is removed, settings will force close and you wouldn't be able to get into settings again.

So if I update to 3.0.9 via OTA updater, do I still have to delete rom slot, wipe entire phone and install fresh? Or can I just install over previous version? Just asking because I tried to install over previous version and it won't open the ZIP file so I am assuming I am doing something wrong. Thanks for any help.

Curious, did you use safe strap for this and what version?

Yeah, since my update is the full ROM zip, I want users to install it via safestrap. You can try a dirty flash, but a clean flash is always the safest option

Dirty flash attempts should always be followed by cache and dalvik wipes before restarting.

Battery icon change worked fine.
Overclocking script install got the same Read-Only error I posted on the last page of the thread.
I manually copied the file & changed permissions.
