I did something stupid and wanted know there is a easy solution to issue. I updated my Moto XT912 rooted with kitkat while on stock JB 4.1 to 4.1.2(98.72.165XT912). I wanted to know how do I rooted and get my KITKAT back. I found the safestrap is still on the phone and rom is still saved but just dont know how to access and run it. Can you HELP!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I read you correctly, all you need to do is re-root with Moto saferoot, reinstall safestrap, enable recovery, and you'll be good to go. Your kk rom should still be there unless you erased your safestrap folder.

That is what i did. But couple of days later it began to crash randomly. Today I decided upgrade my SD card so I went to copy all my files for safestrap. Rebooted phone with new SD card didnt work. Than tried old one worked but google account asked me to verify my password. I tried but failed so i decided to reboot. Damn thing rebooted into stock and wiped my entire phone. I mean factory wiped, no media, no files, nothing everything gone. I dont know what I did but I lost everything in one reboot. Very frustrated and pissed.
