GPS?

Best Answer spainter , 05 March 2015 - 03:56 PM

Hey guys, I'm back again. Have my xt926 running lollipop again. After full flashes and internal storage wipe. So far I've tried Dirty Unicorns and resurrection remix, and on both I could not obtain a GPS lock. I originally thought it may have been something weird with DU, but tried resurrection and continued to have the problem. I then remembered previously having the GPS lock issue and getting it fixed from information on the forums, however, when I went to search the forums for "GPS", no search results were returned. Am I missing something? I feel like a total nooband utter idiot due to how many times I have been on the help section lately, but please, don't lose faith in me.

Thanks in advance.

I believe the fix is listed in the blisspop thread.  Though a quick reminder of what it is may jog your memory (Your not going to like it). You have to flash back to stock. Get a solid gps lock then reflash the rom.  You may try to search with the term gps+lock in the rom threads and see what that turns up. Good luck :)

In Blisspop thread, nprevette420 mentioned he uses FasterGPS app to get lock, post flash. Might be worth a shot, before going back to stock. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Flashing back and obtaining lock, then flashing to lollipop worked great. However, Google Maps was wonky, but Waze and Here worked flawlessly. I'm about to switch to Blisspop and give it a go anyways though. Thanks for the info Jbirdy!
