I came home from lunch today and noticed my N7 was off. I held the power button for about 30 secs and it wouldnt do anything. I finally did some searching and saw this problems seems to happen a lot. I finally got it turned on after holding the button down for over 1 min. Has anyone else seen these issues and if so what did you do, how often has it happened?

My parents N10 has this problem sometimes and you have to hard start it or go into the bootloader menu to restart... I have not figured it out yet.

I had this issue with Kellys old Dinc2... happens more often if you NEVER restart but also seems to be the mobos power connection to the power key.. not sure if its the same thing on the n7 but if it is not an easy fix. Take some canned air and use your finger nail or something thin and gently raise and lower the power button and blow around the key see if that helps at all.

LEEENNNNYYYYYY! Thanks for the advice lol. Its strange cause I haven't had this issue before but sounds like its somewhat common. I'm actually not even unlocked or rooted right now, dead stock for a while now. I'll keep a eye on it and if it happens again I'll try the advice that gets posted here. Holding the power button down for over a min worked though this time.

The button on the N10 and N7 are different though guys. The N7 is an Asus device, the N10 is Samsung. The hardware it self is quite different.
