flash .8 kernel

Has anyone successfully setup exchange on this rom in stock app.  Everytime I do it asks to update security then it reboots and wipes my internal storage.

I loved this rom. It had the best battery life and was pretty damn fast for a touchwiz rom. Then after a couple of weeks everything just started to go down hill.
 
So this rom was extremely fast when I first installed it and for a couple weeks it was running great. Then all of a sudden it decided to get very laggy on everything. Just scrolling through apps would have a delay of about 2 seconds before changing pages. Starting tethering became a chore and often times was so slow to start that my laptop would be connected but not actually have an internet connection until 5 minutes later. I have no idea what happened, but if there's some sort of very small memory leak or something then I don't know if I should keep using this ROM. 
 
The battery life also began to slowly lose it's resilience. I used to be able to not charge the phone for ~2-3 days, now I have to charge it on a daily basis. Also, randomly out of the blue, SU stopped working properly. I had a good couple of apps on the approved list for admin access, but one day I added a new app that asked for access and it said it could not gain access. I checked SU and it said there's an update, so I tried to download the update and it failed. I tried fixing permissions and installing a different SU app, but still the ROM was acting like I was not rooted. I switched back to stock and sure enough i'm still rooted there. What happened?
 
 
If the dev does decide to update the ROM, he may want to look into long term testing. I have no problem re-flashing the rom to fix the issue, just thought I would give my 2 cents.

Same problem here my battery life is horrible and experiencing strange occurrences of lagginess and random reboots MMS stopped working yesterday on its own....very annoying but I really need the battery life issue fixed

Well I have tried other ROMs will waiting on a update. I don't think nothing compared to this ROM . I know Its been a while for a update and I know the op has a life. I'm just wondering if their is any chance for a update at all ? I didn't even update to the r7 . wasn't sure if the issues was resolved .

I love the ROM. Only problem I've had that I can't seem to fix is the lmt. I've uninstalled with the app that you suggested. Reinstalled, reboot, fix permissions, boot to ROM. Pie still doesn't work. I'm not sure if I'm missing some setting that needs to be activated. Or if I did the fix wrong. The fix seems pretty straight forward. So I don't know. I like the pie controls. But can live w/o consideringthe rest of the rom is pretty sweet. Thanks root for all the hard work!

It will probably never be converted.. And isn't compatible with the .16 kernel.. Unless you downgrade you stock kernel which is not recommended due to radio.img files being outdated.. Aka. Bad reception..

There's more support and ROMs for the .16 kernel.. Plus 4.4 is already being developed for the .16 kernel..

So just be patient is all I can say..

.16 comes with the SBF that you use in RSD Lite (Motorola's Flashing Software)...

If you don't know what I'm talking about, Google it..

As for the .8 kernel.. I have a patch for the downgrade but it only works 50% of the time.. Just some advice, stick to the .16.. KitKat (4.4) is being developed as we speak..

Thanks for the reply, I've tried the KitKat ROM but the one in XDA, not here. And the reason why i want stock ROM is because of the SDCard Mount problem on the non-stock ROMS.

There's a couple stock Roms.. This isn't a stock ROM..

No there's not but this is a .8 kernel ROM.. All newer Roms are .16 based.. Even stock ROM's.. Other words this one is severely outdated..
