cpspecial- so you have the lower cpu setting @ 300 & the upper @ 1300, but which do you have it set at for the medium setting, 500 or 700?

Please follow up here on issues of stability…

For those having battery life problems, I submit that it's not the ROM alone that's causing it. Using the ROM with no tweaks for speed or governor - whatever it is that RU set up for us, that's how I'm running it. I charged my phone early yesterday, so I UNplugged it last night at 9pm with 99% charge. This morning at 7:30am it's still showing a 93% charge, so it dropped 6% in 10.5 hours, or roughly .6% usage per hour. At that rate it has a standby time of something like 165 hours, or almost 7 days.
I find that completely acceptable. :)

Also, WiFi and bluetooth are always on, and I have one weather widget that updates hourly, so it's not like I had it in airplane mode or anything.

Thats because the Camera cant save to external sd card. Either clear out some space on internal or get another Camera that can save to external.

For those who are unable to update "Maps" or "Chrome"

First download system app remover from market.
I use this

(but it has to pay, so you might also try

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

, I could only confirm the first one)

Open the remover, switch into system apps, find maps or chrome and click. Select clear data and click one more time to select uninstall.
Then go to play store, you should be able to download the latest version of maps and chrome. (Update confirmed)

Do not use Titanium backup to uninstall the app.

has anyone flashed this rom and NOT needed to perform this fix? I've flashed it twice now and both times i get signature errors updating various google apps (music, maps, search, etc.) instructions in the OP were followed to the letter each time.

Getting a lot of random fc the last few days. Went a week with nothing but since I've been switching between roms and this one started acting quirky. Gonna reflash and start from scratch. Battery is decent but I'm getting better numbers out of other roms. Still like this interface and setup the best. Keep up great work.

i have to say im very impressed with this, i ran wizzedbean for awhile, then downloaded a "leaked" OTA jellybean stock rom and have been using that since about christmas. most likely i will end up back on this, with a red theme, but i want to get a 64gb sd card first. when i ran wizzedbean it swapped my internal 8gb and my external 32gb around (32gb internal 8gb external). not sure why, but thats what happened. then i can pop my current 32gb into my old evo4g which i flashed a "media device only" rom on (theres legit nothing but wifi and bluetooth and apps- no 3g 4g network, no dailer nothing, its like an evo4g tablet haha) anyways, RU(and everyone else thats helped out)- i know im not alone when i say we severely appreciate your hard work!

funny it said "S-On" might need to be disabled.

I seem to have found the cause. A second cache and dalvik wipe plus changing the governor to pegasus stopped my phone from rebooting itself. I tried the wipes before with no luck. It would reboot itself constantly almost every 5 minutes. I read something about a black screen due to a governor issue so I tried that. No issues whatsoever now.
