Thanks root! Found this on the forums as well!!
6250 Messages:
1. Login to your Verizon account.
2. Click on "Change features" button under "I want to.."
3. Select the device you would like to remove the service from.
4. Then scroll down until you find “Contact Management” or "Backup Assistant Plus" under Cloud Storage and REMOVE it
Note: if this doesnt work, do the step above for VZWNMN texts

I have no complaints at all with this ROM... I have a newly converted RAZR Max kit... and with that and juice defender ultimate... I get 24 -28 hours.. and I am definitely a heavy user...but I have noticed that sometimes I get random black screen freezes that I have to do a manual reboot..anyone else have these issues? Other than that... this ROM is (o)Y(o) 's lol :-)
The answer to your issue is in the OP under known issues-governor. And has been answered on every page. I could easily give you the answer.. But you could also easily read as well.

Ok,I found something, not sure if its a bug or not. When I'm on the phone, with the phone to my head, after I hang up the screen is not coming back on. I have to hit the screen-on button on the side of the phone to turn it on to hang up. I'd there a sensor sensitivity that I can change?

I also have the same problem, don't know why??

this goes @ Brandon & @ RootUser94
Brandon, I got them also, it is related to VZW's Backup Assistant Plus & the 1st thing you do is go into verizonwireless.com then My Account & fm there, below the picture of your phone, is a list of account management features- go into Change Features & remove BA Plus then be sure to scroll down & hit "Submit".
If you still get the 6250's which is BA+ related, you need to call VZW tech support, tell them you removed it & still get the 6250 msgs& ask tech support to clear the setting in "Sync" fm their side to remove the BA+ fm your account, it may require a level 2 tech.
I had the same thing… they may tell you to remove 3d party SMS software, as they got a "known issue" fm Motorola about this...
now for our dev, RU94, I suspect that it may be something in the rom's code, related to Backup Assistant Plus, or it's absence.
Before, when I flashed a new rom, I always did setup as much as I could while in Airplane mode, so I could freeze or delete the BA+ stuff w/TiBu, then do the google account registration so the BA+ stuff wouldn't be there when I turned Sync On & that helped me to avoid the dreaded, & annoying 6250 errors. They come b/c of custom roms, I believe it is not any roms fault. just code vzw puts in to check on t_e status of BA+ & it turns out to be something that generically occurs in custom roms which has something to do w/BA+ & since it just started happeneing to me & Brandon. I suspect vzw changed something in the BA+ sync verification process… it IS an extra source of income for them & another reason for them to hate those who root, we can use TiBu etc

phrir1 comes across as intended. Too many dont read the thread and ask the same questions over and over. People are here to help but not read for you.
phrir1 has been nothing but helpful.

I agree that this has been answered fairly often in the thread, and it's getting tiresome to see the question/answer again.
However, under known issues it merely states the hotplugx governor is not working correctly, and it suggests other governors to use.
'not working correctly' is a bit vague, and certainly doesn't speak to black screens/freezing that is repeatedly asked about.
If we're going to suggest (enforce?) that people read the OP for their answers before posting a question, perhaps the questions and their answers should be more clearly stated in the OP.

viper, its a JB update thing, you can enable Power Button to End Call in Settings-Accessibility, or hold your hand just an inch or so over the sensor for 10 seconds or so, I got that tip elsewhere, & it works, but for me its a bit sometimes yes, it works, sometimes no, it's not a discrete switch… hth
