Trying to change the wifi status bar icon in White Jelly theme with ROM Toolbox and am getting errors and, on restart, bootloop. Anyone got any hints on how to do this?

Question!!!! Why Wipe system twice, and cache and dalvik, install rom and Wipe cache and Dalvik again, Maybe its a noob question but if you never Boot the rom the dalvik and cache are empty from the previous wipe ....so to me it seems overly redundant am I wrong? can someone please elaborate as to why this is such an important step...

It isn't but it ensures that you have nothing left over... It's pretty easy to do in TWRP as well

You can edit that yourself if you want...Just find it in the Framework-res folder. Use something like Root Explorer or something to copy the framework out and then edit it to your liking and put it back. Make sure to fix permissions upon reboot!

Thank you. I never knew how to edit it manually. I just updated to this from the ics kernel wizzed bean rls7 and it had full cna customization with rom control. It had the brightness bas in the drop down with other options.

OK so I just reflashed from scratch...Everything is functional with the exceptions of, on occasion I get " touch wiz has stopped responding" and I can't seem to view all my pictures in the gallery app...My pictures are on my ext SD by the way...
Otherwise great ROM...

Does this rom enable USB OTG or USB Audio? Sush as connecting the Razr to a fiio E7 DAC via USB.

I'm often on wifi with data off. The wifi icon shifts left and right a bit. When it shifts left, the icon seems to get a little compressed / corrupted. Just me?

The same thing happens to me too. I've been trying to determine if the 3g/4g icon is changing somehow (it's greyed out so it's hard to see) and causing the WiFi icon to bounce a little. Or if the 'uploading'/'downloading' icons of the WiFi icon are just different enough to cause the icon to appear to jump and compress. I'm leaning more towards a difference in the up/down WiFi icons, but it's hard to be sure.

In weather widget, choose a location and then press "weather map", this function won't work properly and will get FC.

I am not sure, but dont think USB OTG or USB Audio has anything to do with the ROM. However, I too am trying to do this exact thing with an Audioquest Dragonfly DAC. I have ordered a USB OTG cable, and was looking at USB Audio Recorder and USB Midi Monitor software to bring it all together. As soon as my cable comes in I can post back.

Yes, just tried this and you are correct that is what happens. The Map pops, but GPS isnt locking in to bring up the weather map for your locale. Not a serious biggie, but another minor thing for RU94 to look into.

I don't get the force closes. However, the widget does not update location correctly. I only used vs. 4 for a day and and a half, but that seemed to work.

I went into SQL and checked the app and as far as I can tell, it looks like it is set up to use current location. Any other ideas?

i have that as well buut also it doesn't update my location ...I have to manually update
