RU94,

a request if feasible: let the notification bar show even after pulling down the power toggles.

TIA & keep up the good work!

Ok I thought I would post back on my findings with the phone locking while in sleep. I changed governor to ondemand and it seem to work ok for about 4 hours then it hard locked while sleeping in my pocket. Anything else I could try? I really like this rom but cannot miss work calls due to hard locks.

Wow, if that's the only thing you don't like it about the ROM, it's GREAT! :)

You know you can change it yourself, if you're so inclined. Find one you like and shove it up in there. Instructions can be found in the boot animations forum here.

cool ima do that

Have you tried multiple sounds? I use audio manager pro to set custom volume profiles...

I had the same issue. I just wiped out the Rom slot in Safe strap and started over following the instructions in the original post. Works like a charm now.

Just wanted to mention that I was able to update Google search by doing the following :

Uninstalled both Google search 1 and google search 2.0xxx through titanium. Rebooted into safe strap and wiped cache and dalvik cache. Installed through play store.

Edit: forgot to give props. Love this rom. Already donated. Thanks again!

I'm loving this rom, and I'd like to add some constructive input:

it seems ever since I installed this rom I've gonsistently noticed that after tapping on the wifi power button, it takes significantly longer to get the notification that wifi networks are available to show in the status bar.

In the past the status bas notification consistently appeared in a couple of seconds & now it takes 30 seconds pr more.

I have the same settings as b4 i.e. automatic connect, & I'm trying to connect to the same local coffee-shop wifi networks; & I made sure that in wifi advanced settings it does NOT prevent connection with poor connections…

Any help will be appreciated - esp since it would remove this slight concern w/an otherwise great
rom!

I too have noticed that it takes a little while to get the notification, but I can't say that it's specific to this ROM (I'm not saying it's not, just saying that I haven't been paying THAT much attention to how long it takes to get the notification).
If you're in a hurry, rather than waiting for the notification, go in to the WiFi settings screen. The phone has found and can attach to the available networks before you actually get the notification.

thanks for the input, it's a little disappointing that a good upgrade has a flaw like this, but since I'm dual booting, I have a way out.

thanks for the comment about going into Wifi settings screen, I've done that - but it is disappointing that this turns 'automatic' wifi connect into slooowww manual…

I changed the wifi time interval so it saves battery, but if you guys want less battery ill certainly change it back! !
