I don't know the answer to the first question, but the answer to the second is "Don't do it".
Until (if ever) we get the bootloader unlocked, you'll always want to have the stock ROM on your phone. That way if something goes wrong you have a much better chance of recovery.

So its better if i install this in a custom ROM then? o:

Use safestrap 3.07 or 3.11, and install this into one of the numbered slots, leave the 'stock' slot alone.
BTW, I'm assuming you're on the JB leak already - are you?

Ah, in that case you can't run this ROM with doing a little something first.
Go here, do this, then you can dual boot to either ICS or JB.

Or, if you want to move to JB (no going back to ICS) you can go here and do this (if you do this, the dual boot above won't work, you have to pick one or the other).

Id love to do the 2nd Option but my RAZR is not from US, so its not CDMA. Im from Latin America so mine is GSM, so i cant do the legit update until it gets released to Latin America. I think ill stick with the first one !

EDIT: I think that dual boot wont work either, since its using USA's JB update too.. :(

I can't say for sure (you could search/ask in the dual boot thread) but I suspect you're right that it won't work on your GSM Razr.

My Notification bar disappears as well. No need to data wipe. Just do something that triggers a notification and it will pop back in. Plugging usb cable works. Text Message notification, email, etc.

I am not 100% sure, but I believe that Dual boot "should" work. But I would definitely ask in that thread.

If you read through that thread it appears he uses a modified form of the dual boot along with hash's pre-rooted version of the ota and some other moves with their cid and bp tools.

Does appear to use a similar method to Dual Boot just without the luxury of Safestrap.

Has anyone else encountered the "too many texts" error yet in messaging? I send like 40 texts a day total and I am getting it, pretty annoying. I've encountered it on all JB roms based off Moto. There has to be a way to disable it I would imagine, maybe a .com file I can remove with Titanium?
