ROM is loading and settling in so I look forward to the improvements (was very happy with 1.5).
Besides the battery charging animation moving up one pixel at around the 90% mark and the notification bar toggles being a little more blue than prior version, I'm liking it so far Will probably be on this ROM a while....thanks!

halo13, maybe it is possible to make ROM whitout integrated Gapps? What we have:
- Google music can't update
- Google calendar can't update
- YouTube can update but can't sign in
Google services can't install from store (I deleted it with titanium backup)
Integrated gapps isn't the problem with updating. Its the toggles that require signing every apk in the system so signatures don't match those of the play store.

Integrating apps into the ROM isn't a problem. Google Music must have got signed when building the ROM. The calendar is AOSP as stated in the OP, it can't be updated only removed and then you can add the Google calendar from the Play Store. YouTube is a known issue that has no fix as of yet, the only option is to use the version included with the ROM until Google puts out a fix or myself or another dev finds a fix. Try using an app like Titanium Backup to remove the apps in question and reinstall what you want. I will address the issue in the next update.halo13, maybe it is possible to make ROM whitout integrated Gapps? What we have:

About YouTube. In batakang there is no problem (external gapps), in Cyclone I heard that Byte fixed this issue.
But I really like your ROM! I'm sure you will find solution.

Was this ROM updated to .16? The OP gives me the impression it has been!

Nowhere does it say .16 in any of his posts. You guys are assuming this based off of the ota being leaked. Give the man some time! He clearly states coming soon and the op clearly still states .8 for now.
Edit: in the mean time grab the odexed ota, use jb dualboot to flash the .16 kernel and install the ota file in SS. Basically the same thing and you introduce no additional risk to your phone.

Edit: Reflashed ROM and still I have the same problem. Anyway I can get the 1.8 version again? I never had any problems with that one.

Not yet. NEW UPDATE COMING SOON - Just to update you all on my progress I will be releasing a new version with lots of new stuff and updates. There will be more AOSP and less Blur. I am currently awaiting the true OTA so that I can deodex it and release the new version. I have chosen not to release a version based on the soak. Was this ROM updated to .16?
