ok i was playing around with the aosp mms today and found away around the force close when sending a picture. After attaching the pic just view the pic with gallery and then you can send it with NO force close.

Problem with the MMS too, but I used the no picture one mentioned earlier.
Rather it get fixed then push us unto handcent or go sms which always bombs me with ads.
Is there a way to get the DSP manager out of the menus?
i uninstalled the APK since I am using the Ac!D audio stuff with walkman instead.
Otherwise so far so good so far as far as performance.
Got a couple of suggestions or requests but I'll do those after a few more days of using it!
Thanks~~

You need to get sqlite editor and set the entitlement check to 0 to get the hotspot working.

Halo13, I'm really enjoying using this ROM. My issue is Voice Command(s) - firstly it is not in the app tray and I'm not sure if it has been removed intentionally in this build. So as it is not in the system, when I press the microphone button within the phone dialer it clearly fails to load - goes to a grey screen momentarily - and then back to the dialer. I rely on the voice command to dial while mobile. Does Voice Search replace Voice Commands or can they still work together? Thanks.

Love this ROM, super stable, great themeing and since you released 1.8 haven't had a single need to reboot.

One request since I can't figure it out myself... could you make a flashable center clock or put it in an update as an option?

Again, thanks a lot!

Awesome ROM, thanks for all of your hard work!

My one quirk I have come across while using it day to day is the bluetooth. Everything comes in clear, music, phone calls, etc. But when I am listening to music (through spotify) and I receive a call, the music stops playing in the headset to play the incoming call notification like normal, but then the music plays out of the phone speaker until I answer the call. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Not sure what you mean. Not fully functional? What isn't working?

MMS doesn't work at all, it's just not pictures, like if I write a long message and it converts to MMS it will also force close and just show a blank square when I go back into it and it will not send.

Edit: I just turned off convert SMS to MMS and it works fine now since it don't convert to MMS.

I'm not understand, why you don't use stock Messaging app? MMS and SMS are work.

When I was using fuzion ROM the same MMS app that's on this one worked fine sending MMS. But they had the same force closing problems sending mms before they released it,but they got it working somehow when they released it.

I am having issues with the phone freezing while the screen is off. I have found myself having to do a simulated battery pull twice in the past 12 hours. I don't realize the phone is frozen until I try to turn it on.

Anyone else having this issue? Maybe something to do with CPU Sleeper??

You're using an Screen off profile? If yes, disable it. HotplugX causes freezes, too. Use another Governor.
And instead off pulling your battery hold power & Vol.down untill it turns off.

Just updated to 1.8.1. Thanks for keeping up with this ROM. Very stable, fancy and smooth. :P

One question about the update process. You stated that we must clear data, so I did. I rebooted into Safestrap, clicked the "wipe" box, wiped. Then I cleared dalvik and cache, installed the zip, cleared cache again, and booted. Phone said "please wait, phone is updating" then it loaded after it was done with that. Everything is working fine, "about phone" shows the correct version and all that. However, all of my stuff is still there... I did NOT lose any apps, data, messages, etc. from the wipe. Was that supposed to happen?

The only thing that seems to have reset is my boot logo (I had it set to a spinning Decepticon icon, but it's back to the original Razr Maxx one now).

I had that issue, at least before the update. It would happen randomly every few days. If you hold the power button for about 10 seconds it will restart safely. It was weird, the buttons at the bottom would light up, but the screen wouldn't come on. Reminds me of the end of my Blackberry Storm's life, except that would happen every time the screen turned off....lol

Did you do a factory reset first? Follow all the steps in the OP for flashing .

Ok. Phone seems to be functioning fine, except for the fact that I cannot MMS pictures to people; "messaging" FCs when i try. So, I will do a factory reset and clear everything before flashing the zip again, just to be sure I did it right.

Also, dunno if this is important but I updated to 1.8.1 from Evolution JB 1.5, not from the stock ROM.

There is an issue with the Mms and I will be getting an update out this week that will address it.

After you attach the picture to your message if you click view and view the picture and then go back to the message it will send with no problems.
