Yes blur, it worked great in 1.5 but now 1.8 says it can not connect.

I found a stock e-mail zip on my computer. I flashed it and installed but I don't know if corp email works cuz I don't have. Just wipe cache and delvik. You should setup email again after the install.

Hey guys,
I wanted to post a little something. Here is the Evolution JB 1.5 Mms.apk with the avatars removed, Mms messages justified with the appropriate side, and other little changes.

I dont have contact pictures so I like to remove the avatars from all my favorite roms Mms.apk's.

Easiest way to install would be to use an adb push
But there is also a zip that you can download and flash in Safe Strap
Enjoy!
THANKS FOR THE KICK rear end ROM HALO!

I just want to say this... if you don't follow the instructions on the OP and something doesn't work right then don't gripe. I clearly states that a full wipe is required when upgrading to 1.8.1, If you followed the instructions exactly and then you have an issue I am glad to help. As far as MMS sending pictures? This is not my app and it was borrowed so I need to contact the original dev on that.

Was there a specific reason you replaced the 1.5 mms apk with this new one you borrowed for 1.8? I just reinstalled the older one because it seems to be much better especially aesthetically. Am I missing out on any features other than the built-in theme settings for the mms app?

EDIT: Looks like I am missing the quick reply and call buttons in the expanded notification. Not worth it in my opinion. Plus, I like my notification icon for texts to be blue so I can see it even more easily when looking from a distance.

Downloaded this ROM to try it out and see how it ran. My download was performed on January 23rd and when I rebooted and was playing with the OTA Updater it keeps telling me there is an update available. Both the download performed and the updated version, per OTA say the ROM is 1.8.1.

Why am I getting the update notification when it appears it is the same?

I'm getting notified by OTA updater too that i have an update and i'm on 1.8.1. It's showing the same version in the update.
