Have I gone crazy or does this ROM not allow you to use live wallpapers? I restored one with titanium and there appears to be no option to apply it, or the stock ones. It's not really a deal breaker for me because I rarely used them anyways til just recently and this is the best rom IMO. I think a donation is in order when I get paid lol

most of the debloated ROM remove that option, look for the 2 apks link on fatfree rom and place it in system/app.

Thank you very much, Evolution JB is absolutely the best stock ROM available.

I like having integrated toggles because of resources saving, however I've tried to tweak them with no luck :S. Tried editing the "quickpanel_quick_settings.xml" in System.ui, but nothing happens, the toggles remain the same. I just wanted to add the hidden "Sync" and "Flashlight" toggles. ......

FatFree had been my favorite ... until I loaded Evolution JB late yesterday. Looks like Halo has won me over, as this runs great.

Not a complaint, just a wish, if I were to change anything, it would be to remove baked-in toggles. I'd gotten to like using Power Toggles, in the Play Store, as the toggles can be easily tweaked to suit one's preference by adding or removing toggles. And I think making it a system/app allows for gps on/off without opening the gps/location panel.

Thx for the hard work and great rom!

Still having issues with the text message app. It's not a deal breaker but it still shows message delivery unsuccessful when in fact the recipient did receive it. Other than that everything is looking good so far.

The only problem I found so far is when you go to settings in Google Now I got a FC. After deleting with TBU and rebooting and reinstalling from the market it works fine. Other than that it's been smooth running.

I downloaded Kebob's deodexed JB base, pulled out the MotCamera.apk and put it in system/app ... so now I have both the 4.2 and moto camera.

What other xml file do I have to edit to enable these toggles?

And also, this is not a request or anything, just found it cool having a more AOSPish look on the homescreen by replacing fonts for the 4.2 fonts, and replacing the lockscreen handle images...

Hey, could you upload those battery images? I miss that percentage too :P.

As for your flashlight and sync toggles, every toggle requires smali files with matching ids to work :/

Just out of curiosity, is there a way to change the battery icon In the notification bar, I have a hard time reading it sometimes (oh the joy of getting older lol), I tried changing it with a circle one with the percentage in the middle with rom toolbox but it did not show correctly, any help would be appreciated.

Try Gsam battery monitor in play store.

Yeah I've used that and it works pretty good, guess I'll have to turn it back on, the only pain is getting it centered lol

I have problems reading battery % as well, so my fix has typically been to drop PNG images into a ROM or update before flashing it. The battery PNGs I use were done for Kebob's base .215 (by Superrelax). Of course, that involves using 7-Zip to copy those images over to drawable-hdpi, but I find that easier to read than GSam or other options and having 2 battery % showing up top. Here's an example (not shown to size ... replaces current battery image in notification bar and about same height as clock):

What do you mean didn't show correctly? As in, it didn't change it? I've always had good luck with ROM toolbox pro as long as its a 1% icon. I'm using one now. Maybe there is just a problem with the particular one your trying.

Edit: I'll say this, I always uncheck all of the charging animations. They don't seem to play well with this phone and the type of roms we're using. I just deal with the stock charging animations. Honestly you might have to reflash if you already changed the charge animations. IF that's the problem

Yeah this is what I was referring to, it's always fun the first go around getting it perfectly centered, and as for rom toolbox I think my problem was I didn't use one that went by 1percent,will look at that here in awhile

Ah much better, I just made sure in rom toolbox I downloaded one that was in 1 percent increments.
