Try adjusting these setting in build.prop,

1) proximity sensor to 25
2) call ring delay to 0

If you don't know what line it is , use ROM toolbox or something similar.

Unless I'm reading the build.prop wrong (always a possibility) it looks like those are already set to 25 and 0 respectively.

Has anyone else had the muting issue as well?

Note that you need to be booted in to the STOCK slot when you update SS.
Basically you're downloading an APK, selecting it using whatever file manager is on your phone, and installing it.
If you still on version 2.xx of SafeStrap, then there are extra steps to update to 3.xx.

Its recommended but not completely necessary to update from the stock slot. If you're on the JB dual boot kernel like I am, then only way to boot back to stock is to reflash the ICS kernel from your computer. In my case, I just installed the ss3.11 apk from one of my JB ROMs on my safe side & then updated the recovery from within the app. Hashcode has done an excellent job of making it pretty seamless. It worked like a charm.

The proximity sensor seems to be a universal JB leak issue. The muting sounds like the BT issue from the ICS kernel, which this leak actually uses a modified version of. Gotta remember, this is a leak, not a final release.

Hmm, the built in ROM Toolbox includes a theme chooser for T-Mobile's Theme Chooser. Is there an apk file to download that? I don't think I've seen a JB kernel based rom with the Theme Chooser....

you can just ignore that part of ROM Toolbox. It's not for this ROM.

yep its enabled. I had to reflash with data wipes and it works now. Don't know what the deal was. I actually started lagging so bad that I had to flash a different ROM. Something got severely messed up some how. I was good for a day then all hell broke loose! Lol The stock SMS app works about 50% of the time on all Roms I have been on. I text people and they don't get my texts till days later sometimes. I have been having to use go SMS to be able to get notifications. Oh well not a big deal. I'm off to the next ROM anyways. But I'll be back for sure.

Has to be something missing or changed during the build process then. Has it happened on other custom ROMs?
