How do you get titanium running before the play store starts auto restoring when you flash a new ROM?

Don't login in gmail at setup. Or if apps start restoring through play store, just cancel. I never had any problems letting Google restore my apps

One of the last pages of setup offers to restore apps and keep the phone backed up, just uncheck the restore apps option.

not to put down titanium in anyway but i use stormbird backup pro has build in sms and a call log backup to which is nice
just thought i'd share that info

I never restore apps from google, that's what titanium backup is fore. Letting google restore stuff can mess things up

I have never had a problem with that first time ever since I've been wiping and installing Roms. always a first I guess.

Well, I tried the bluetooth (Plantronics M1100) and the phone does not ring through the bluetooth. I tried the Assistant app and it worked fine. I read earlier that this was just a bug in JB built on the ICS kernel. Any ideas on what could still be causing this? Anyone else having this problem on Fuzion 1.0?

Edit: Updated the bluetooth software and it now works like it should. Phone now works.

Well I did all the wipes set up the new Rom slot all was fine until google went to intall my backups Error Error Error installing on at least 30 Apps, I had a 2nd backup in Google drive so all ok right now..

I'm thinking there is a difference between having Google restore a BACKUP and having it automatically reload APPS from the market.

Restoring a backup implies restoring settings, and that's rarely a good thing between ROMs, or even different versions of the same ROM, some times.
I've never had a problem having Google reload apps, that said, I rarely do it. Google doesn't really know which ones I want reloaded to my phone. So I always cancel the auto reload and the restore USER apps and data (never system apps) using Titanium Backup. That's hasn't caused a problem for me yet.

Ok i flashed and did all of the wipes and I am getting a text messaging force closing with every texting app that I try. I cannot receive text messages as well.

I read through all the post and didnt see this issue when adding a google account and opening the mail for it when holding down the menu it brings up the settings when clicking the settings then the mail account you want and then click sound & vibrate then pick sound it asked what do you want to do grab it from ringtones file manager, and a few others It also says always or just once, I clicked always by mistake now I cant change it back it always goes to ringtone area it wont give me the option to pick once or always again It wont let me pick it like from my SD card, is this a goggle issue. I also tryed to delete the accounts and it did not work to bring me up to the option of always or once again,I will have to reflash to fix this problem.

MD, in the apps list, find the app that you chose and clear the data for that app - that might reset it so that you get the question again.

Delete the ROM slot, create again, all 4 wipes, flash.

Go in to manage apps for that app and select'clear defaults'.

Tried that rebooted same issue shows all my ringtones in the internal phone not giving me an option to change from always to once
