Awesome Rom!! Is anybody getting force closes with the clock app? It opens fine, but as soon as you hit back or home it force closes. I'm running the latest version of this Rom. Its not that big of deal, was just wondering if anybody elses clock app was doing this. On a good note I am seeing some of the best battery life out of any Rom I have tried.

Is that System UI or the utility 's soft keys?

These are from System UI.

It was a mistake, actually....I was messing around with stuff and pushed the wrong System UI to my phone, thus stumbling on these...

Does using the soft keys bypass the hard keys on this Rom?

The hard keys are still functional, but they don't light up.

I'll change the color of the softies today and I always leave the hard keys functional in case you're unable to see the soft keys outside

As of right now you can use one of the first few options to get rid of the soft keys. I actually don't have a return to stock option yet so I'll be sure to add that in for the update :) the best option is probably 4 if you don't mind the clock back in the stock position. I will get an update out tomorrow for a remove soft keys option.

Sounds good! Thanks for the quick response. I just didn't know if there was a trick built in to remove soft keys if I tried them and wanted to revert. ROM runs soooooo good - thanks again!

my brothers phone's hard keys do whacky things due to it getting wet once, so I set him up with droid hd rom because it has the hard keys bypassed and it's working great, but he'd like to update to JB. Is there a way I can disable them myself?

Yeah I can give you the XML to change or if you are not comfortable making changes in framework I can do it for you and send you the file to flash

Why you choose Apex instead of Nova for this rom, is there any reason? I am just out of curiosity

I've never made changes in the framework before, it's truely not a priority, I'll pm you my email, but if it's gonna be a pain, don't worry about it.

Love this rom so far. One question, I flashed the smart action zip but I don't see an option to turn on and off mobile data, I remember having this option on another jb rom, is there something I am missing?

(i had caps on and didnt notice im that big of a noobie)

for this Rom all I did was use juice defender. But you don't have to use juice defender. I got almost 3 days off a charge. That was with no calls or texts and just all internet time and a ton of idle time. I use my tablet more now then my phone. Here is a pic of my battery time on this rom. I'm getting 24 hours plus consistently though on a heavy day. Just turn off your data if your phone is going to be idle for an extended period of time. But truth is, it depends how you use your phone. If your playing games and have a ton of calls and texts you should probably still get almost a full day on this Rom, or a full work day. But roms like this one that is based off stock, you will see the best battery life. Cm and aokp based still good, but not as good as stock. Just flash this Rom that's all you really have to do lol.

I don't know about you guys and your ringtones in your sd card but I've had to change my constantly over and over again they are not sticking from the sd card to the notification in apps I want to use them with. it always reverts back to a stock ringtones.
