Just wanted to give a quick review of this ROM. I think it is pretty functional and smooth. However, as far as the theme work goes, I think it is ugly. I appreciate the time and effort put into this and I am sure many people love the ROM overall. I was a huge fan of Lownslow's Licorice ROMs but this just makes my eyes bleed. Perhaps an alternate version with very lightweight theme work would encourage more people (like myself) to use this ROM. Either way, keep up the good work, guys!

We work hard on making a solid ROM at least you noticed that. The theme is a blend of full throttle and licorice. This is the direction we going this is the way we like it sorry your eyes are bleeding you have a few choices
1. Flash something else
2. Theme it yourself
3. We have an amazing community with lots of fantastic themes I'm sure one will start making a theme. I know for a fact pink Floyd theme will be ready soon.

I complimented the ROM. I mean no disrespect to either of the developers, I was simply voicing my opinion and encouraging them to keep at it. I appreciate the time and effort put into it, I just don't like the appearance. You guys seem to look only at the negative of my post and completely ignore the positive of it. I had something nice and I suppose something bad (an honest opinion) to say. If you cannot take constructive criticism then that is fine. I will refrain from commenting in this thread with my honest opinion if nobody wants it. I apologize for offending anyone.

Edit: I feel I have been polite. Maybe a little harsh but I did not flat out say "This ROM is complete s**t." It is still a great ROM, I just prefer a different style of appearance.
Edit2: I wouldn't expect anyone to completely change the theme of a ROM for "me and me alone" and I did not request that. I just thought it might be a good idea to introduce a less-themed version later down the road for people that enjoy this ROM but have different style tastes. Sorry if I sounded greedy or ungrateful. I am neither, and I recognize the time and effort put into this work that is done for the community.
Edit3: Last edit. In regards to the forum rules, I was being completely respectful in my first post in this thread. I clearly voiced my opinion. An honest, polite opinion should be respected whether it be good feedback or bad feedback.

That's a deep sleep bug we're trying to work out. Change the gov to hotplug (not hotplugx) in ROM toolbox.

I will say if you looking for stock moto grab lows deodex base or kebobs and put in a slot slowly start changing things the way you like them. In time you may be happy with what you created and share with the community like all of the developers and themers here have do

Great rom!! This rom is the reason that I pushed myself to get on the JB leak. I did not want to move to JB unless it was offical OTA but this rom made me do it. And so far, well worth the plunge and proud of my decision.

Few things that I am sure you guys are working on, 1) the deep sleep bug with screen off 2) for some odd reason the battery life has taken a big hit, on stock with my usuage I used to get almost 30 hours, on Demented bean rom, I used to get 36+ and here so far I have had to charge the phone 2 times already and it has been like 24 hours since I Installed. 3) is it possible to replace the text message shortcut on the launcher with goodle voice?

P.S. Any of the above are not a deal breaker for me. Plus maybe the battery will settle in a day or two. Just giving input on what I have noticed and some of my preferences. Thsi rom still will be my daily driver.

Then I use Titanium to backup and uninstall the ROM version of Apex. I reboot phone, it boots into new launcher. Then I can go to market and DL premium version. It shows up in my paid apps...

Don't know if this works with this ROM, but thought I'd try....

You beat me to the answer. I tried this before leaving work...and now the pro version is working. But after using titanium to uninstall the free version, I used titanium to reinstall the free version.

What do you guys want in a ROM? Moto blur garbage or a rom that is custom built that doesn't have all the bloat? I don't mean to push people away but there are roms out there that have the blur options you are looking for

I've seen this issue posted on a few of the new ROMs, and I experienced it on two of them. I read in one of these threads where it seems it's caused by a deep sleep issue, and perhaps governor related. Maybe try a different governor and see what happens?

From what I understood, the person who asked this question said when they went to reinstall the pro version, there was an issue. I personally had an issue (again, on the Full Throttle Killer Bean ROM) where the market said there was a compatibility issue....

Change governor to hotplug and see if that fixes your problem
