Same here if you look in settings/accounts/Google/ it's missing contacts. My contacts are literally missing. Have tried removing account and re-adding it...Rebooted and nothing. Not sure why it's happening but I don't have numbers memorized worth $#!+ so I had to flash another.

1. Go to your Google contacts page from your desktop and export your contacts in vCard format
2. Place resulting .vcf file on your sdcard
3. Import from the "people" app
I realize it's only a temporary fix and that it won't sync, but it should work until the team get the wrinkles ironed out.
This is where I would tell you which ROM I'm running, but I probably just flashed something else.

Thanks I have contacts without flashing gapps. Just use root explorer to paste into system/app.use ti:

For those of you missing contacts, here is what I did to fix it:
1. Go to your Google contacts page from your desktop and export your contacts in vCard format
2. Place resulting .vcf file on your sdcard
3. Import from the "people" app
I realize it's only a temporary fix and that it won't sync, but it should work until the team get the wrinkles ironed out.
We working on it. I so hate having bugs we should have a new build up soon.

Hey dave , for the sync adapter.apk do we have to change its permissions? It says the app is already there and asks if I want to merge/replace it
I just told it to replace it and it worked!

If you long press on any file or app in a root browser you can usually choose to change it's read and write permissions, either granting or restricting it's abilitiesWhat do you guys mean by changing the permissions?
