Reformattted SDcard to FAT via TWRP.

All is good again.

This is the first ROM that I can say has made this phone feel snappy in the two years I've had it.

 

Is it significantly better than the latest (3-8) Liquid Smooth rom? I've been unhappy with everything since KK, until that build. Have spent too much time flashing and would like an opinion before throwing away another Saturday afternoon

I haven't tried Liquid Smooth since I had an HTC Thunderbolt. I never got it to run well. YMMV.
I would wait for the next release.

There are certainly some strange colour combinations present in this version. Some by design I'm aware there's no theming option, but can be invasive in some screens.

Nice, glad you said sorry to qualify your adjective. I know this ain't my ROM , but comments like that make me want to say , let's see you do better. I Know I can't. And I haven't had any problem using it at all, except in the sun. I know that devs ain't made of glass , but they do have feelings , and enough time of getting your feelings hurt wouldn't you say screw it and move on to someplace where your feelings don't get hurt by people your trying to something for free ?

Well, will not hurt to be more polite and flexible developer also I don't know why any comment here are so unwelcome? Rom is very smooth, the best for xt926 I've tried so far! But dark theme is far from perfect. Light gray text on white background?! Black text on black background?! Don't get me wrong (as usual here), I like dark theme. Default LP is too white, especially for AMOLED.

 

I know that we got something for free but as developer shared that with everyone, would be nice to take comments, suggestions, criticism... We're all in the same boat, to make our devices work better. Aren't we? Maybe some of us can even help making it better.

We all were noob once, even you He wasn't very polite but you or OP weren't polite neither. Do you always take something, for example Linux distribution, and never have any complains about? Always is perfect? Or if is not perfect you take source and make it perfect? Maybe you do but some people doesn't have knowledge or time to make their own Linux distribution or Android rom. However they can contribute in suggestions, testing, user feedback... and at the end make final product better. If you don't accept anything, then you're making only suitable for yourself and that's against of open source idea and contribution.

 

More understanding, friendliness and goodwill is needed here. Just saying.

Well, as ex-CM user I admit that your rom works better. With some tweaks it's the best LP experience so far.

 

If I may suggest, make your dark theme more consistent. At least those grey text I've mentioned. I would like to see customizable notification buttons but I can live without if that will make rom laggy.

How about this folks, if you have an opinion, concern, question, or bug that's fine. However, if you're going to use any ROM, accept it for what it is, a free, custom ROM for a phone that tbh, isn't listed in legacy devices because it is cutting edge, and if the theming isn't up to your standards then actually learn something and contribute to the community...this crap isn't that hard and it doesn't take a ridiculous amount of effort to learn to do it. If nobe or anyone else wants to spend his free time doing this stuff and shares his work then you as an end user who contributed NOTHING to the development process should just be happy with it. He honestly doesn't even need to respond to such ignorance but he does for the benefit of the forum and community. If he wants to make this thing pink with butterflies and fluffy bunnies it is his right to do so. Developers do NOT make these builds for you guys, we do it for ourselves because it is fun. We share it because we have all gotten something out of the Android custom community and want to give back. If you have an issue, gather the appropriate logs and post them somewhere that is convenient to retrieve them from. If you have a feature you'd like added find the correct commits on

and share the links. Otherwise, revert back to stock and call Motorola when you have an issue. Nobody deserves this much flack over some theming crap in an otherwise excellent ROM.

Remember, the Android community is one to nitpick ad nauseam when small detail is "irksome." Theming function, I feel, is a small detail.

 

A developer grows an operating system, ironing out those irksome details that we in the community beotch about. I'm usually the one who cringes at being told to thank certain individuals, yet I feel devs working on a 2012 (three years old!) phone deserve gratitude. The only remarkable thing about it is the kevlar back, everything else is subpar by today's standard. Yet, the device is kept alive passed Motorola's end-of-life sentencing. 

 

A BIG detail that people SHOULD be complaining about is the performance and memory issue in LP, whose responsibility we can only load so much on the devs. I want to see the glory 5.1 will release us to.

yeah, i think i'm having this memory issue.

i'm playing games like boost 2 and suddenly the game lags a lot for like 10 seconds. then it come back to normal. and then after some time it happens again.

besides that, i got nothing to complain about. the rom works great in my phone. it makes me wants to have the razr hd forever with good devs like Nobe.

Update on SD card issue:
ROM reads 32GB cards, but not 64GB card.
Anyone out there using a 64GB sdcard on this?
