Also if I flashed the new notification bar but wanted the original back, would I have to wipe AND re flash for for this or just re flash the zip?

Hi. I rooted and installed this on my wife's phone as her first rom because she wanted better battery life, wanted to try the free hot spot and liked the looks and comments about the iphone smoothness as she had just come from the citrus fruit phone. I can't find the mobile hotspot app. I see the settings for it and assume we just activate it under settings? TIF.

yup just activate it and it should show up on your computer as a connection

Thanks T3T3droid. The rom looked intriguing so I placed it on my phone today after being stock for a while. Must say I'm impressed. I'm surprised this isn't getting more attention. Fine work and kudos to the developers. Donations on the way.

My wife says to thank the developers. She is glad I rooted her phone because this Rom has made her battery life so much better and the operation of it so much smoother. Great job developers!
I had taken the JB update while on stock and I can say comparing this to the JB leak that this is as smooth if not better, as quick but with much better battery life. Fortunately, Verizon gave me a replacement phone due to call and wifi problems with the leak. I see no need to upgrade to JB in the future.

Gotta agree with you there. Battery life on the leak sucks compared to ICS

Well, I mean battery life is really exceptional on Icarus, as long as Google Now is turned off as it's a battery hog. Revolution/Evolution is a close second and all of the developers do a wonderful job and put such passion into their work for very little recognition and oftentimes a lot of grief and unreasonable demands from users. Well done JP and T3T3droid

To the development team: I wish I could change my icons. Here's what I mean. I have to install GoSMS to get MMS to work (Alltel). So when I put that gaudy Icon on the dock that jayrod made it looks like crap. Is there any way to change it? Or keep the stock icon from jayrod?

Also, Alltel doesn't require a SIM card but I have that annoying message on the lock screen. Ideas?

Totally up to you. No biggie. Just a bad contrast with jayrod's awesomeness!!

EDIT: I like this ROM. I am just so use to stock because everything just works. The ONLY issues I have were the ones I listed above. So, which one of you guys should I donate to?
