Hi guys,
Motorola newbie (not too common phone in Croatia) here, but not so new when it comes to rooting & such. Anyway, I have pretty much bricked XT890, thats what got me here. I've read first post several times, seems pretty clear, except.. am I the only one that can't get into motofirmware.com? I tried Firefox, IE, Chrome... to no avail, not available. Have I missed change of FXZ files location somewhere in this thread or something else is the matter?
Thanks

Thanks spainter
Unfortunately there is no exact model there, and, to be worse, nothing under RAZR i either. As far as I know XT890 and RAZR i should be pretty much the same. But I don't dare to use any other file untill someone more experienced suggests. Any hints?

Yup, thats the one that I need FXZ file for...
Ah, now I see, there is something that might be usable in user reviews. Blur...something. Lets see if I finally got lucky.
Thanks again

Okkkk, version 990 seems to be too new, got this from House of Moto:
ERROR: XML script not found in this factory image. This is not yet supported.
Going to try something older.

And same message with version 81. I guess Blur and House of Moto don't get along too good, probably because (if I'm guessing right) Blur (retail?) is supposed to be installed other way, no XML file inside zips. Its getting late here so I'll bid you all good night. Will check this tomorrow morning, looking forward to new inputs.
Thanks

While I was waiting for some fresh thoughts I tried update from SD card using two retail Blur versions. Both times it ended with message:
"system/framework/framework.odex" has unexpected contents.
And installataion was aborted. Am I lucky or what

You can try this archive. I was able to get into it but it hasn't been updated since last sept.

I tried that spainter but I don't get anything under RAZR i I even went to RAZR to try to get any file, and it didn't work. Its an archive of sbf.droid-developers.org that doesn't seem to exist any more or for some reason I can't get there. Thank you for all your help I'll wait here hoping SamuriHL will show up eventually...
P.S. I guess you can't access motofirmware.com website either?

Last ditch effort try this thread. It is the closest and gives you some choices for origin country. Use rsd lite to flash. Good luck
