OK, since I've only seen the one thread about those Medieval cases on eBay from Head Case, and I've seen a couple of mentions here and there about cases and such, I thought I'd start a new thread about such accessories.

 

For me personally, I'm looking for a case that comes with a belt holster.  Or else, I might opt for a 2 part solution, getting a nice case (like that neat clear one from Case Mate plus some sort of belt pouch or something, not sure).

 

A Car dock would be nice.  Really nice.

 

The LG Tone Infinim look really nice for headphones, but are way over priced at the VZW store.  But, I do like my HK sound, so I'm looking at some sort BT headphones for mostly calls versus music.  I already own these for a wired headset, and they work great for in home use....

 

Anything else that should be brought into the thread?  Or should this thread be split up by accessory type?

Well, I think we need sooocold to create an accessories section....

 

For me: I used to love cases that offered serious protection like Otterbox Defender, but have grown to hate belt holster over the years so downsized my cases as of late. On the 926 I have a Diztronic which has protected the device very well.

 

For the NX6, since I like the looks of the dbrand skins and may get one, I chose to only get clear cases. After looking at them all (...yeah sure...), I chose to get the Ringke Fusion Smoke Black and the Spigen Ultra-hybrid in Gunmetal, which are very similar.

 

I am starting with the Ringke Fusion for the first week to see...so far after 2 days, fits great, I like the tabs to protect from dust, until I need to charge and then the tab is a pita imho, but not too bad. The Blue NX6 in the case now looks Black, which isnt bad

 

Will post back in a few before I switch to the Spigen. Off the top I do not think I like the Spigen buttons as they have no separation between the Power and Vol up button so you dont get the same "feel" when poking around blind. But we shall see next week.

 

The only thing I think I need/want now is a Tempered Glass Screen protector. My research says they all have the same usual issues, but I am leaning towards the Bodyguardz Pure Anti-Glare or the Nillken PE+. The first is good for the L.A. sunshine and the second for my light sensitive eyes

 

 

EDIT: Oh, and I got the pair from Amazon for $24 thru Prime, so not too bad on the pocket overall

I have three cases that i switch depending on where im going

 

this is my favorite holster style for work

 

this is my backup and used for lighter duty. I mainly bought it cause the previous case was back-ordered and i needed something for work.

 

this is my all time favorite but i limit its use for days I know i don't need to be concerned about damage.

Same - pinned WFM. I think I am going to get the case mate clear and get some sort of pouch on a belt clip. I have to have my phone on my belt, hate it in the pockets. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

I have an iBold universal car dock. I bought it for the N5 but it stretches far enough for the N6. It didn't automatically detect the presents of the dock, but I set Tasker up to do launch an app I use in the car. 

 

I see they have an NFC tag version now.

I got one of those from Newegg the other week, it seems to work well, maybe a little slow from PC USB to the stick but acceptable from the stick to the NX6 and Nexus 7 (2013). I did get Chainfires stick mount app as well as the Pro license for it so that the app takes care of all the mounting details.

I bought a 32gb sandisc USB/micro drive back when I got my X and Stick mount pro. All I needed. Having a SD really isn't as necessary as many think it is.
