Been wondering the same thing myself. No clue. But I'm away for work this week so it's a good chance it'll come while I'm gone. LolAny idea why M Preview 2 has not shown up yet?

Negative. There is no easy root for M right now. You'll have to wait for a new boot img that allows root to run. You CAN install twrp, but, do not attempt to root.

I just HoN'd M preview 2 on top of my M preview 1 install. It's rebooting now. I told you it'd get updated while I was away. LOL. I'll be releasing HoN 1.5 soon to fix the TWRP bug where it doesn't notice that twrp is in the recovery dir.

Well, I rooted and have twrp but get an annoying message that my device is corrupted at boot. Tried to get rid of it by flashing the ex kernel, cut no luck. Any thoughts of getting rid of Google's boot notif?Negative. There is no easy root for M right now. You'll have to wait for a new boot img that allows root to run. Nope. Not a clue how to fix that short of restoring all the partitions to their pristine unmolested selves.

it appears that some of the kernels do have root baked in for preview 2...

Yup. But I'm not doing custom kernels. Waiting for chainfire to resurface.

they were posts referencing Despair 3.3 and Elemental....they may not have been baked in but said that SuperSu 2.49 was working with them
