Need root.Do you have to be rooted to use safe strap or could you push it to your device from your PC?

That's in 4.2...Anyone know if this build supports lock screen widgets? I can't seem to enable them.

For those of you that want a more detailed writeup here it goes...
This is the exact steps that I took and I have root. Hopefully this helps out...
- Flash back to stock .211 via matt's utility (option 1)
- After setting up phone again root it via matt's utility (option 2)
- Download and install Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper
- Click the "protect root" button
- Click Temp. Unroot
- Click Restore Root
- Click Temp. Unroot again
- Plug usb into your phone and copy the update over to your external sd card.
- Hold Power and both Volume Up and Down until boot screen appears
- From boot screen, scroll down to “Recovery” with Volume Down
- Press Volume Up to select it once it has been highlighted
- When Android and exclamation show up, press both Volumes at the same time
- Then “install update from external storage” and find Blur_Version.6.16.211.XT912.Verizon.en.US.zip
- Flash update (flash will take like 10 minutes)
- Wipe data (factory reset) <-- Probably optional but recommended
- After going through initial setup again download Voodoo OTA from market again and click restore root button
- Download superuser/super su from market
- PROFIT!
Followed this to the letter. EDIT: Plus Matt's utility. I am now running Jelly Bean with root.
Second Edit: Flashing a boot animation caused everything to go to hell. Now I have lost root after trying to get back to Jelly Bean. Anybody have even the slightest Idea on how to get root on Jelly Bean?

Let's you install hascodes ROM to ROM a ROM slot without touching your stock ICS install.

I you want to install JB in Safestrap without redoing your whole phone and while maintaining fast boot capability, check out this thread.

That my friend is power toggles. Apk from play store. Had them on ICS. I believe the new pull down toggles are at the bottom of the screen. (the one's I've seen anyways) here is the Razr m launcher and circles widgets I added on.How do you have the dropdown toggles?!!?!?!?! They arn't there on mine, did I miss something?

I've been using the power toggles for a couple of days now. It sure seems to kill my battery (on the maxx). Never had problems until I used this app. Plan on removing it to see if my battery life comes back.
