You guys will get JB. Other OMAP devices are in testing. Punit Soni has made a specific promise to get you guys what you deserve. Update list says you'll get it.

Matt said the RAZR/D4 and some phone I never heard of are in testing. He also said absolutely NOTHING is being tested for the Bionic.

Not sure I believe Punit Soni, OR the update list. We only have until March to get this piece of crap pushed to us, then our 18 month support window is closed.

However, you RAZR owners don't know how it feels to be the redheaded stepchild

The whole BIONIC/RAZR/RAZR MAXX sequence of products releases should have been just one release IMO. The RAZR was released less than 90 days after I bought a Bionic at Costco, and I was allowed to exchange the Bionic for a RAZR...otherwise I'd also be in your shoes and would not be a happy camper either.

This was not possible without the help of jward, send him thanks for being the ONLY one to pull this...

Thank you both...could not find a member named jward or I would PM to thank directly.

Very good of you to share.

I guess i'll save being truly upset for the day I find out we really AREN'T getting JB. Since supposedly, we still are. It's just going to be so much fun to install JB when IT is an OLD operating system.

If your rooted and plan on keeping root follow the steps to keep root. THEN

Place the download on your external SD card boot into STOCK recovery and apply update from external storage.

Since this went out OTA, will we have any upgrade path issues when an official JB update (assuming it is a different version) comes out?

Tried installing, and got an installation aborted message. Status 7. Looks like it didn't like the ro.buildfingerprint line in the build.prop file...

Shouldn't have any issues, This was pulled from the cache folder prior to installing it. so it is the OTA. (Installed, updating apps). It takes a while for it to install be patient.

Edit:

Dang the wife has to many apps hahaha
