I'm still tempted to do this but so far have resisted. Someone talk me into it.... Or out of it for that matter

There are a hundred reasons to switch to jb over ics. It's faster and more stable. Not to mention, when kept rooted, the custom roms being released are amazing!

I am still holding as well. I held out for ICS and want a true JellyBean with out ICS bits underneath. Another reason i am hopeing for bettery battery life. Before ICS, I was getting 24-26 hours per charge. Post 211 ICS I can get mabye 16 hours on a charge.

I can't download any of the hosted files. Only getting a 300KB file for the update. Is there a better place to download from?

I'm getting all those links to work for me. Are you downloading on your phone? Try a different browser or PC.

Does the JB update work for 6.16.214.XT912?

You are either going to have to go back to .211 or you can use this Utility

Please Login or Register to see this Hidden Content

and do option 1 wiping data and it will load up OTA JB for you.

I am on the OTA ICS that has been rooted but other than that is pretty much stock. I have tried downloading the OTA JB a number of times and keep getting an error message when running a system check. Is there anyway I get my phone to accept the JB OTA without fastbooting back to stock? If I use the Utility mentioned above can I update without wiping data (ie option 2)?

If you use that utility you can try without wiping data but more than likely you'll end up bootlooping and have to wipe it. It's up to you to decide.
