I am on 6.16.215 Is there a guide I can use to get on the OTA path?

Easy! download matt's util, use option one to fastboot to 211, root, protect root, profit. BUT. it appears the update has been pulled.

You should be able to use Matt's Razr Utility, its pretty simplified.

I was having the same prob, but I just let it sit for about 15-20 mins and when i looked back at my phone it had updated! Be patient!

I tried waiting, also restarting the phone and same results. Also noted that it says elite not installed even though I had purchased and installed it. Superuser just not working quite right at the moment.

Open OTA Rootkeeper.

Choose ' Backup Root '

I don't see "Backup Root" presented as a stand alone option in Rootkeeper. I do see "Delete su Backup" and "Temp. un-root (keeps backup)" as the only two available options

I assume you wouldn't have added that "Backup Root" step if it wasn't an option...I'm using OTA Rootkeeper v2.0.3

Am I missing something?

i remember the d3 conundrum i got an iphone 4 as a break from android because of it, jumped back to bionic then razr thankfully moto has made up for making crappier phones, lets hope this update is somewhere on the interwebz to be installed otherwise they'll ruin the holidays lol

This is not official OTA, it's a build test build that got pushed to the wrong server.

Oh god the d3 was just completely screwed as a Moto device. I'm glad I don't have to use that thing anymore
