If you still have the superuser icon, but just not gaining root, you should be able to down load the small root fix utility to your CPU, plug phone in, run the program, enjoy root.

The root fix link has seen posted over and over.....so it is available for anyone willing to do some reading

Anyone else experience an issue with phone calls coming across the speaker even though that wasn't choosen?

Yes. Me, too. Not only are all calls on speaker but they are at full volume. It makes making calls impossible. Very annoying to say the least.

Anybody having issues of not being able to check emails that use the pop email client? I keep getting a error and it won't open. I've tried reinstalling with TBU but that didn't help. I also get an error that says exchange isn't working.

yeah I had root already on jellybean...but since I wanted to set up my phone to see how its like on jb once I finished the setup I downloaded titanium backup and i had no root

You can also try this...not sure if this will work...but it's something I saw from mattigroff in another thread.
fI you used Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper and you still lost root/cannot restore root!
Download and run this in Windows. USB Debugging Enabled, MTP mode.

No, and there won't be. Same reason we can't go back to GB.

Its a leak. Somebody at Motorola pushed it to the wrong server which pushed it out to us. We pulled it and are using it. They had no intention of releasing this, VZW is pissed. :D

It is different. On .84 and on the bootloader security was upped, same thing with this leak. No way back.

Moto broke their contract of letting VZW approve anything that goes out. VZW was left as the middleman here. No sources, just speculation.

I'm running it. Had to do the unbrick procedure and I'm stuck without root though. I'm pretty happy with it.

I've heard people have ringtone and call issues.

Reduced data and WiFi reception

Only cons of the leak whatsoever.

Well I think I soft bricked my phone. I can go into recovery. either Via safestrap or stock. I can't reset the phone. I get a bootscreen that looks like static. And can't read anything. The safestrap and the stock recovery displays normal. Is there anyfix for this or is the phone a paper weight now?

Thanks brother.

Maybe just maybe this wasn't an accident because I remember Google letting loose an OTA for the Nexus and then pulling it. Maybe someone at Moto did it to motivate VZW to get off their dead asses.

In pretty sure Google is pissed about how everything went down with the VZW nexus.

Since you still have safestrap...may I assume that you did not use Matts utility and instructions in the original post?

Orginally I did. But I haven't tried since its bricked. I think thats where my problem is. Maybe I will try and flash the 3.06 and see if it clears it up.
