I upgraded to jb just fine but i installed the RAZR M homescreen and remembered why i didn't like it. I went searching for it in ES file explorer and deleted it.... so i thought. Is there anyway to get the regular home screen back from the update or can one of you upload the homescreen apk. Many thanks. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2

Tried to, the forum says I'm not allowed to upload this type of file. Tried to PM you, no luck there either. If you want to PM me with an email address I'll send it there.

Well I am talking about the stock home screen because they are named the same and I picked the wrong one.

I don't know but I just want my "Circle Battery - Percentage" back in my statusbar.... :o

Any how-to on that?

It's for the Galaxy Nexus but that doesn't matter. Just gotta decompile SystemUI, update battery xml, and add 1% battery images like the directions say.

Oh, if you're asking what I think you are - and you've got both installed now.
Go to system > apps > all > homescreen and clear data. Then the next time you press 'Home' it will ask you which launcher you want to use.

No what I need is the actual apk for the stock homescreen cause I deleted it.

No, there are no soft keys.

Yes, you can install inverted .apks

Thanks for prompt replies! What a great forum!
Just attempting to confirm everything works and can set up as I am now with inverted calendar, contacts, mms, etc prior to taking the plunge,

Lol thanks but that's a bit over my head atm... Was hoping for a "flashable" .zip I could do in SS3 or something?

Weeelll, I wasn't going to install the leak, but then we got over a foot of snow... So this will let me kill a couple hours. The think I'm going to miss most coming from CNAcore v1 is my status bar toggles. But I guess I can tough it out until TSC or whoever gets some builds out there.

Thanks for all the work!!

If you still have the update file you should be able to unzip it and extract it from there. Then copy it to your /system/app folder and set permissions. In the zip you downloaded you'll find it in the patch/system/app folder. My guess is that's it anyway. Named homescreen.apk.p . My guess is you'll have to rename it to just homescreen.apk.

That's what I was gonna tell him too..but all I found in the .zip was the homescreen.odex file.

Had some issues with root.

C:\Users\Public\Documents\RAZR_JB_UPGRADE\RestoreRoot>chmod +x RestoreRoot.sh
'chmod' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.

I launched the FixRoot.bat and good to go.

There's something exhilarating about working on phones with locked bootloaders. I always get butterflies while doing this unlike working on my SG3! ;)

Thanks for the write-up and support bro!

Not sure what docs you are reading, but that is for Mac/Linux. chmod is not a Windows command.
