I have always been a big fan of the stock boot animation on the moto droids so I pulled the files from hashcodes stock room upload and threw them in a zip. Sadly it is not flash able, but maybe one of the great devas can take care of that for me as I always failed when I tried in the past. For now you just need to extract it to / and over write the existing one. Then change permissions(I like ES File Explorer myself) on both files so the first column has three check marks. Then the second column should have a check in the top box, and the rest should be empty.

I will clean up the instructions next time I am on the computer. Until then, enjoy!

or you could go into system/media and rename the bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak(or something similar) and copy the downloaded bootanimation from the sdcard to the system/media folder...and voila...no flashing needed

Oops forgot to add the files lol. Yes of course you can do that but to the average person it is far easier to flash a zip then copy and paste.
