It seems folks are having varying degrees of success when installing this ROM (CM12), and I for one am curious why. I've been very fortunate in that my device beautifully, while others end up with boot loops, ANR's, system crashes, etc.

I'm thinking there's a pattern here somewhere...

Notes (if interested) XT926 vzw
I've flashed every dhacker29 version of cm12 (except 12/9) and the single aosp build.
Bootloop if i dirty flash between cm12 and aosp
CM12 loses signal on boot sometimes.. Reboot fixes
Half the time, i get black screen before recovery... Hard reset, reenter recovery fixes (been like that since kk on ALL RECOVERIES)
Initial boot after flash takes forever while android prepares the apps (wiped cache if switching from CM12 and AOSP)
CM12 likes f2fs on data and cache partitions only... AOSP is ext4 only.
Both CM12 and AOSP have stuck GPS icon.

The best one out there right now is Blisspop. Cm can't compare. Works like a champ and gets better every build. Super stable and a ton of options.

It works, it's just laggy as hell.  I'm flashing back to CM11 now.
