RAFFLE TIME

Here it goes - From time to time I end up with good "Stuff" that I don't need from people who feel they need to give me good "Stuff"

SO - in an attempt to make my unwanted "Stuff" someone's new treasure, I am going to hold a contest, raffle style, sort of.....

Here's how it will work, starting NOW (12-13-12 10:23am PST) until 12:00 Noon PST 12-14-12, for anyone who donates to DROIDRZR.com in that time period, they will get a chance at the prize. The winner will be drawn at random from the pool of donors.

IN FACT, every $5 's of donation is a chance (example - Joe donates $15 - there were a total of $75 in donations, so Joe's chance is 1 in 5 ( here's the math $15/5 = 3 , $75/5 = 15 -- 3:15 or simply 1 in 5)

I was thinking Raffle, but there really wasn't a designated place for that. If the mod's would like to move it from here, that works for me.

DroidRzr took on a bunch of us Bionic misfits in one big drop with no fuss or muss. To me, that was worth something, so I felt I would try to do something that would help them a little. I could just as easily sell this stuff on ebay and just give them the proceeds, but then that does nothing for anyone else. If someone can pick up something worth $50 or more for $5, I see that as a win/win kind of thing.

This is the first attempt, if it doesn't fly, no big deal.

You have to donate to be entered???? Lol that's not a contest, or a giveaway. You're buying it. Kinda wrong to limit to the contest to donators only.....

It is a raffle, which is considered to be a form of contest and/or giveaway.

We appreciate you doing this a lot. If you don't mind, I'm going to post an announcement to draw more folks into this thread. Next time (not a scolding), let one of us Admins know and we can better promote something like this. It goes a long way. Guess I'm gonna have to rename this forum to Contest, Giveaways and Raffles.

Edit: FWIW, I Have this exact Roku, and it you have Netflix or Hulu plus, this makes even the simplest TV internet tv ready. We use it in the kids room. Wifi ready and everything. It's really awesome.
