After installing SS 3.05 and creating rom slots I am getting low volume messages constantly. My slots are 2gb. I believe the threshold for that message comes when internal memory is under 2gb. I have the vast majority of my apps on ext. SD. Is there a way to eliminate that annoying message or change the threshold at which it appears? Or should I just erase everything and start over and make my slots 3gb?

That message comes up when you have less than 1 gb left on the internal sd card. If you made 2 3 gb slots, considering the 600 mb for each system and 200 for each cache, that will put you under the gb threshold. If you're installing most apps to the external sd, then I would suggest making 1 gb slots. As far as I know there is no way to change the threshold.

Thanks. After a little more digging around that seems to be the general consensus. I only have 2 2gb slots, and I did make sure to remove my old SS folder, but it looks like my SS folder is the bulk of my problem @ 6.4 gb. Each of the "2gb" slots takes up 2.8GB. I just wasn't sure during setup just how large the slots should be. Looks like I'll be backing up and deleting slots and re-doing them tonight.

Also, of you're installing ICS roms, then any apps you move to sd will probably wind up on the internal sd card. Check your .androidsecure directory on both the internal and external to be sure.

You were correct on both counts. I backed up my roms, deleted my slots and started over from scratch with 1gb slots. All is well and now I have Flick5, Arctic HD, and one of the evolution roms loaded up!
