Stuck with a conundrum

I currently have the RAZR HD. I have the bootloader unlocked and I've been Flashing the bejesus out of it for the past year.
I follow every phone closely and know all the hardware specs usually. It sucks I can't pick which phone I want (Xperia z3v) but I'm sure I'll still get a solid device.
The phones available to me now I'd consider are the following : LG G3 and Droid Turbo. I don't think I'd settle for anything else right now.
The Droid Turbo is amazing and I played with it already @ Verizon. They are full of s*** when they say close to vanilla Google aosp experience. The internal drive has 1.2 space filled up with apps vs Xperia is 700 mb+ and freaking sweet UI.
I think even with awesome specs I'd go crazy with a super locked down phone if I can't root it, where as the LG G3 has TWRP etc....
My other choice is to wait and see if Xperia z3v, Note 4 or Nexus 6 make the list of available phones.
ANY DEVELOPERS OUT THERE GOING TO WORK WITH THE DROID TURBO? Or is it an impossible task now a days?
Can anyone vouch for the LG G3 ?
Is it worth the wait?
Thanks

The NX9 is shipping out tomorrow. I'm pretty sure carriers are going to have the NX6 on Nov 12. I know t-mobile is but there's a media embargo until the 12th which leads me to believe that's the release day. Currently my order for the NX6 through the play store says Nov 21 ship date but I call BS on that. I think you'll see general availability on the 12th.

They will. Kellen at droid-life already tested his review unit on VZW and it worked perfectly. All 4 carriers are going to be selling it so whatever your chosen acquisition path is will be fine. Note that it's ONE device for all carriers so it matters not where/who you buy it from.

I, myself, am torn. I have the Turbo but am considering returning it and waiting for the N6.

The NX6 will be a better phone in a few ways IMO. The Turbo is nice, though. Tough call.

After actually seeing proof that the N6 does work on VZW..I guess I can wait a little bit to get it. I mean.. It's a Moto Nexus.. A great spec listing with some of the goodies I am used to on my OG Dev X...gotta be part of that!

the N6 is just sooo, BIG. Dimensionally how much bigger is the N6 than the G3?

N6 159.26 x 82.98 x 10.06 184 grams G3 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 149 grams
so it's over a centimeter longer and almost a centimeter wider than the G3

I'm starting to come around to the size being a positive. To me a phone is not much more than an internet device where I may or may not make voice calls once in a while. Having a larger screen makes it infinitely more useful to me as an internet device. And shall we remind you that it's unlocked, day 1 versions of Android, and supports all 4 carriers on one device? Buy it outright and pick which carrier of the month you go with.

Doesn't the turbo seem to have way too much bloat, or am I too picky? Lol I was also disappointed in how bright the screen gets when I looked at it at the Verizon store.... Thought with it's amazing screen specs it'd be blinding at its highest setting.I, myself, am torn. I have the Turbo but am considering returning it and waiting for the N6.
