I tried built in tethering on flying jelly and it worked but it doesn't seem to work on eclipse. I have unlimited and not subscribed to tethering.

Flying jelly has the entitlement hack that Nitro mentioned baked into it.

How do you get the entitlement hack?

Successfully flashed 1.2. For some reason my screen is not sleeping (aka if left alone, the screen just dims and never turns off). Developer setting >keep awake = unchecked

mine works fine. Did you try changing sleep setting in display?

What's your screen sleep set to in display options?

I lowered it to 15 sec... and even after 10 mins the screen is still on, even after a fresh install. At least you guys got it working. Hopefully another reflash would fix it.

HotspotLauncher.apk But I'm not sure if its dependant on anything else though. Use root explorer to copy it from a stock blur ROM. Paste in system/app and change permissions to rw-r-r. Not sure if it will work but it would be worth a try.

Nope. It just took me to the system launching of tether. Thanks for the thoughts. Any other app or anything I can do? Foxfi not working either

Got it already. Limiting my DL to a meg but uploads are like 9 megs through tethering. Fell asleep. I'll play with it some more today.

Let me know how it goes. The reason I want tethering built in so bad is the speed drop off from third party tethering apps.
