I just have the worst luck with this. I did a factory reset about 2 weeks ago so my phone is in a pretty "clean" state. I flashed the 10.1.2 stable Within 30 min I had a random reboot (and I had one the following day too). GPS didn't lock and I ended up having to boot into stock twice to get it to work in CM. I got no sound out of the Play Music app and I had a really erratic battery meter. In the past I have never been able to fix the battery meter even after 3 or 4 full-drain cycles. So I'm skeptical it will fix itself now since all the issues I had with the May and June nightlies are still with me even after a factory reset. I just flashed the 7/18 nightly so we'll see what happens, but I'm doubtful CM can be a DD for me at this point.

Kexec roms do have their quirks. I've had issues like all you've mentioned and it drove me nuts.

It's disappointing because CM really does run so nicely. Hopefully the devs keep chipping away at issues and deliver something that can be a DD for pretty much anyone. If GPS ever functions reliably I'd probably bite the bullet and just live with the other issues. because it's really less than a handful of things now.

Hmm I have not had any of these issues on CM10.1.2... course I probably just jinxed myself.
But it's been solid as a rock...

Yeah no matter what ROM I run they always break down and lag or certain things don't work. I have to have HDMI so most of the ROMS are out for me anyway. What I ended up doing is flashing the deodexed zip and installed the 1% battery mod and the power menu mod which are two things I liked about ROMS. Now I have HDMI and DLNA (which connects to my hopper and I can stream a movie from my phone over wifi to my tv). No reboots no black screen no gps issues so Im sticking with stock. The down side is I find the ROMS to be much snappier than stock (in the beginning) I miss that.

But stock annoys me from time to time too. I think it's all the b.s. sync stuff but the more you turn off the less functional/useful your phone is.
Sometimes it feels like I'm basically just babying this thing until a new phone really captures my heart. Sometimes I feel like it holds it's own and so no need to jump ship just yet.

They're all fast when you first install them. The benchmark is nowhere near the 5/29 version.

A good Cache Cleaner will help you with Performance and Any Lag Issues... Increasing your Min in CPU helps as well...just speaking from my results...

Benchmarks don't always show an accurate picture. Have been using cm since the nightlies started. I am aware they all seem to bog down with some use=for some users. I have had the instabilities too, but this build has been up since i installed it and has yet to become unstable. I think the se implementation has been what we needed. Wi-Fi stability has improved and it just seems snappier. They're all fast when you first install them. The benchmark is nowhere near the 5/29 version.

I encountered an interesting bug with the 10.1.2 stable. Either GPS wouldn't lock or sound wouldn't work. Every time I rebooted I would get one or the other but never both working at the same time. And this was after a full factory reset and doing fix perms and all of that. So I dropped down to the 10.1.0 stable and that bug went away and things seem to be good so far.

10.1.2 Was very stable for me up until last night. It was acting a little wonky on me, I was getting data drops, which was probably VZW not my phone itself, but I did a reboot on it anyway just to get a fresh start (I reboot every few days anyway, so this is nothing new, and not the first time on this rom). When it booted back up, it took me to the activation screen, like it had forgotten my google account. I put my google account info back in, and once it was done booting, it was like I had done a factory reset. I Nandroided it about a week ago so I will be able to put it all back together rather quickly. I flipped it back to stock for the moment and will rebuild it probably tonight. (Thank you safestrap!!) Anyone else had this issue?
I should have a signature here...somewhere.
