Suggestions. I can't get multiple recipients to work on stock messaging or handcent. Anyone have any ideas?

I never actually tried your handcent trick. I upgrade frequently to the newest nightly and the problem I had with MMS resolved itself with a newer nightly. One thing I did do before noticing a fix was that I fixed permissions. That might be completely irrelevant tho'.

Never had an issue before with multiple text. Followed ldubs instruct on settings. Worked with handcent but not stock. Just fixed permissions. Will see how that goes. Thanks all.

If that doesn't work I would try backing everything up, wiping everything and installing clean (then restore apps etc).  Worse comes to worst you could always try deleting Slot 1, recreating it and installing completely clean (and then restore apps etc).  I'm assuming you use TiBu or something like it.

This is off a clean deleted slot 1 flash. I can use handcent, but prefer stock. Tibu still my #1 app.

have you toggled 

settings>mobile network settings>CDMA subscription

This was the fix like 3 months ago.

Weird BC I thought a fix was send an MMS thru go or hand cent and then try sending thru stock

Yeah mine breaks it up as well. I'll send a group but only get single threads back. Yet someone else sent me a group message and it kept all replies in that group. Been trying to figure that out myself

I'll have group message come in, but I can't reply to group. It gets split. Not a major issue. Just thinking there is something I can do to fix it. Don't know what that is. Buddy on stock maxx HD no issues. Others on I*hones.

Have you tried a different SMS to see if it does the same...

 

My understanding Handcent wasnt user friendly with Different ROMs...

 

I've been using GO SMS PRO with No issues at all...All tho I really dont use MMS much to encounter these issues...

Yes it is. You take care of yourself. Like the X days, I can live without the group deal, but I'm just perplexed why I can't get it to work on stock. Oh the turmoil:)

thats network mode.. not CDMA subscription. your options should be RUIM/SIM and NV

That's what you want. Some guys had luck toggling it to NV and network to cdma /lte then untick data then put network back to the top all 4 option and back to SIM/RUIM then tick data back on.

On a side note, that's the problem I've had with the LTE tile toggle because it flips LTE but then to Cdma/lte when you turn it back on which isn't what you want making it useless. It would be a nice option if it worked because I live in a rural area with spotty 4G so turning it off saves me lots of battery.
