Blutooth and tether problems pretty much made me put this one back on shelf. Using Killrom and Icarus HD as DDs. Ttfn! :)

Bluetooth And tether work on killrom? I had a funky issue where it wouldn't hang onto ringtones, kept changing my tone to a different one and wouldn't display them in settings even though they were in system/media folder

Hey random question about ROM development and updates. Why is it that when a new version of a ROM comes out like cm10 and cm10.1 does the developer suddenly stop updates for the previous version? I mean if you can fix and perfect one version while starting to work on the new one I think everyone would be a lot happier. So just wondering about that lol.

Most developers have families and jobs which leaves limited time to spend on their development hobby.

Well I understand why a ROM itself stops getting updates. What I don't get is if a person is working on a ROM and they decide to make a new version of it while the previous version still has bugs that could make anyone not use it as a daily diver why would they suddenly drop one version that is fairly enough completed but not really complete to start working on the next version of that same ROM when the differences between them are minimal. Why not just finish the older version first so we can use it while the new one is being worked on.

Why waste time on 4.1.2 when it's not the latest. Plus we will see it soon anyway.

Why not perfect a ROM before throwing it to the side for the next version especially if the developer wishes to make their ROM peoples daily driver. There isn't a single version of cm ROM past cm6 that were really completed. New ideas were thrown into the new ones but none were worked on for long enough time to make them seem worth using for long
Periods of time and until someone finally sits down and says this ROM is not only based on the latest version of android but were actually going to perfect it and make it as bug free as possible cyanogen will forever be incomplete.

If you want that you're probably gonna have to get a device supported directly from Cyanogen where you can get their nightlies. I've seen somewhere on here where a CM9 rom gets updated occasionally. That might work for ya.

They will always be loaded with bugs. That's why I completely gave up on jelly bean ROM's. I use Incarus HD as my daily driver because of the simple reason, everything works, including bluetooth. It may not be a jelly bean rom but at least it runs very smooth with no bloat attached.

Same here everyone of the JB ROMs looks great but something makes me switch back to a stock based ROM every time.

I probably won't be satisfied with them until we get our ota to JB. Then I can't wait to see what ROMs start popping up.

No, I tried that ROM and because it's a jelly bean rom, Bluetooth does not work and also the stock camera.

I've just installed the latest build and it seems to be doing OK, except that it's stuck on 3g. I went into the mobile networks settings and checked LTE/CDMA, but it doesn't seem to work.

Any ideas?

EDIT: I restarted the phone 3 times and wiped the cache 3 times. After that it seemed to work. Strange.

I did receive a call earlier and when I put it on speaker phone the other person couldn't hear me. Does the speaker phone not work in this build?

Just curious, but does anyone know of a way to change the torch button in the quick settings menu to point to another app? I have a widget on my home screen for smart tools that works ok, but it would be nice if that shortcut would work
