Couldn't get OC to stick. When screen goes off reverts back to 300.

Changing your "sampling rate" is most effective for cutting lag. "up threshold" is a close second. Careful if you decrease sampling rate tho, if you go too low it will have a noticeable impact on battery life.

Hello,
Threshold settings...What are your number settings?

Same outcome with setcpu. Doesn't sick after screen turns off. Very well could be user error.

I usually turn "up threshold" up to 95 for battery savings. If you want to reduce lag, you could go down to like 50.

"sampling rate" ill turn up as high as 200000, for battery savings as well.

Since there's been a decent amount of lag on recent CM10.1 builds with those settings, I've actually just been leaving them alone at 80 and 100000.

Sampling rate is in microseconds, and up threshold I'm not completely sure, but I'd guess its CPU load required to move up to the next highest frequency.

Up threshold of 95 will keep you at 300MHz for almost everything.

That's weird my friend...Mine is sticking with the settings mentioned...1200 Max and 800 Min...

You're right on 95 and 300 MHz...Its like Tigger...Its always Bouncing on MHz...

Thanks Man...You're Awesome...New Piece for me but very interesting...

Just flashed the 6/28 nightly. I'm fairly certain this is first nightly with panoramic capabilities in stock camera. Works surprisingly well. This was just a first time use. Could be mistaken and it's been there for some time. Sent from my XT875 using Tapatalk 2

Flashed 6/27 and 6/28 but neither are turning on wifi successfully. It just hangs during setup and even if I go into settings it doesn't allow me to turn it on. Ideas?

Use terminal emulator
su
wifical.sh

Do the wifi part 2 times, then exit. Should be good.

It will help your Battery Life...
Increasing your Min will make a difference... obviously usage is a factor but that's on any OS System...

I'll admit that i might be reading you wrong, but increasing the minimum frequency is not going to help battery life. It will certainly drain your battery much more quickly.

When I say helping Battery Life,

The Performance with your Phone is Stable by increasing the Min Frequency it runs more efficient and less Draw on your Battery giving additional Life to your Battery but Yes, a Higher Frequency Reading over 800 theirs your Battery Killer...

Not the case for me,

My current Reading with Min is 800 and this phone is working Awesome...it proves to be a Positive Increase in my Battery Life in addition to using Juice Defender Ultimate...My average Increase with my Battery is roughly 1 hour & 33 minutes

For me, I am a Heavy user with my phone...so the average is 12 to 14 Hours...Much less before by 8 to 10 Hours...

Battery Life also depends on what's Under The Hood with Apps, Widgets, Syncing,  ETC and Phone Usage

I can't seem to get a GPS lock on the stable version.  That sucks.

Really? I'm running it right now, it seems flawless, did you do a clean install? If not, give that a try

I'm still having with this, and most roms actually, some battery meter wonkyness. On any given day the battery will run down like normal, but it will either from sometimes 39 or sometimes 29 percent down to 19. Effectively skipping the 20's, and sometimes the 30s too. I can deal with it skipping the 20s, but in the days it decides to skip the 30s too, that's painful, lol.

I used to see this on Icarus too back in the ICS days. I suspect this is why Blur Roms, without the 1% hack, just report in 10% increments. Anyone else notice or see this?

I should have a signature here...somewhere.

Yeah this happens to me too. Seems to happen after the percentag jumps from something in the 70's or 80's up to 100 while charging.

It's happened with all four of my batteries (1760 and 2760 OEM, and 2430 and 4000 non-OEM) on many different ROMs (probably all of them).

** Edit semi-related

the non- OEM ones sit at 1% as soon as I've drained 1760mAh from them all the way until they die. (incredibly nerve-racking)

I've found that monitoring their voltage is a more effective way of guestimating the energy left in them.

Battery monitor widget is pretty nice for voltage monitoring :)

I installed no-frills and all seems well, the min has happily sat at 600 for 2 hours.
