Maybe we'll get the speed from rc3/4 back in one of the M releases, but with all the kinks worked out

I'm going to flash the 6/26 nightly. My phone appears to have lost some of it snappiness. And it's getting a bit warm.

If I can make a suggestion with Lags:

 

Its Not the ROM or the Bionic Phone...

 

Its the CPU Settings & you need an Awesome Cache Cleaners... that makes the different...IMO...I've not had Any Lags, Performance Issues with Any ROMs that I've been on using these 2 choices....Seriously...Just throwing it out there....

• Increase your Min CPU from 300 to (600 or 800)
• Performance with your Phone is Waaaaay Better
• Lastly, Cache Cleaner NG is Awesome...I have mine to clean every 12 hours...get rid of those Nasty scattered Data and realigns the Ducts sort of speak
• My backup Cache Cleaner is One Click...another Awesome choice...Here's one Bonus App choice...
• Awesomeon Ultimate App...Never Push your Power Button again to Activate your Phone just a simple tilt of the Phone to Activate...I'll leave it at that...The App that works...

These choices mentioned makes my Phone work like a  Marathon Runner Winning the Race before the Start Gun was Fired

Changing your "sampling rate" is most effective for cutting lag. "up threshold" is a close second. Careful if you decrease sampling rate tho, if you go too low it will have a noticeable impact on battery life.

If I understand...

If Sampling Rate such as Min if its to Low will use more Battery Life and cause you more Lag with the Performance of your Phone...another words...Not very responsive...

 

My CPU Settings are set at:

Max~1200

Min~800

Governors settings:

Hotplug

Deadline

Please note the CPU on your current ROM defaults to 300 even if you change to 600 or 800...

Thanks! I bought setcpu during D1 days. Probably back then I did bump minimum up--then again there were kernels and ROMs that you didn't have to sweat setcpu after some time.

Good call, of course. Not sure what it will do to battery but just the minimum change is night and day so thanks!

It will help your Battery Life...

Increasing your Min will make a difference... obviously usage is a factor but that's on any OS System...

 

Now, that said, Juice Defender I was not a fan of B-Cuz I thought it was Smoke n Mirrors...Meaning it was a Cosmetic App...

 

However,

JD Ultimate is the Balzz for me to get every last once of Life out of my Battery...I'm a Heavy user which means...12 to14 hours of Heavy usage that's good and the average for me...

 

With an Idle phone meaning Moderate or less...I've gotten or the highest reading was 1 day 15 hours...so, I am a Strong Advocate for Juice Defender Ultimate, Cache Cleaner NG and Increasing the Min CPU...

 

My Phone is close to Seemless on any ROM I chose...When the Dev's are Beta Testing their ROM's...I seem to Weather most of issues with less Pain n Suffering...

I haven't used that, or any app for that matter to play with min/max in a long time. Thought those days were over. Forgot I had ROM toolbox pro. My has is 1000, so I'll try 600 min for a day or 2 and see what happens. Thanks for info bubba:D

shoot. I tried it and it didn't. Failed running the script. Is it stable from then on or is it a script you have to run once in a while?

how do you overclock? what kernel did you flash? also idk if this is the rom but everytime i play the simpsons tyapped out, my phone freezes.

Couldn't get OC to stick. When screen goes off reverts back to 300.
