I've loaded the RC and so far it seems pretty smooth and snappy. The one thing that is not working right for me is voice to text and searching. When I click the microphone it takes 24 seconds before the "speak now" comes up, then it works just fine. I tried clearing the cache, dalvic, re-flashing the gapps...still the same. Anyone have a suggestion?

I noticed that Targa isn't on the official RC list at CyanogenMod. Was it left off inadvertently?

It's more likely that the list isn't automatically updated as the new device versions compile.

Just having fun with Android!

Other than panorama I haven't noticed any problems. Super snappy.

Something is amiss. When I click on a mic "speak now" comes up instantly. Maybe try a "clear data" and cache on any voice apps that you can find?

Ok, clearing the data/cache on the google voice engine and then wiping the phone cache and dalvik finally did the trick. Thanks.

Woooo, an RC for Bionic/Targa. Never dreamed I'd see this day. Hash you're awesome for bringing us this far, all the while with a locked bootloader.

I should have a signature here...somewhere.

Glad it's working like it should.

Everything is snappy and working except my sound on Alarm Clock Extreme was muted. I rmmbr someone awhile back said they had this problem. But this is probably the best one since 4/20 in my opinion. Too soon to report on battery.

I had some reboots earlier today while playing Ingress. Not sure if it was poor connection or gps but phone restarted. Back to stock and lurking thread. :)

I still have GPS problems in RC1 as every version.

After following this forum for months, for those who can't get GPS to lock even after uninstalling Maps, using GPS Status, fixing permissions etc. I think the really only solution is to FXZ via RSDLite. Everyone who said to go that route seems like that has fixed the problem for them

Even now, my gps can't lock in Stock. So im just gonna have to finally stop beating around the bush and FXZ.

I was in your position. Still on 246. I tried everything I knew or read about. In the end I went the fxz route. Now I have no gps issues whatever I run. If you're still on 246 and don't want to deal with update, go into unsafe side (presume 246) and freeze updater before fxz. I never saw notice for the update doing that.

It's strange how some installations have chronic problems with some features. I haven't been able to get the docks to work on the stock or any other ROM to save my life. OTOH, the GPS radio is rock solid in an airplane going 500 MPH on any ROM I load. YMMV.

Oddly enough, my stock is pretty fast now. I think it might be the fact Swype is missing, though, lol. (Was missing after flashing Blurry - not that it makes sense since I haven't messed with my stock slot). Oh well, installed SwiftKey again and liking it better this time.

Out of curiosity, did you ever FXZ using RSDLite on the stock ROM? My phone won't recognize either the desk dock or car dock. Another poster on a different forum lost dock functionality immediately after flashing FXZ to 246, and that is the one common denominator in our respective systems.

Yikes - not sure what FXZ is or RSDLite. Docks (car and AC charging) is recognized with the OTA JB version. I have not tried desk or car dock on CM10.1 yet. Only glitch I've had so far with the JB OTA ROM is weird "Calendar Storage stopped unexpectedly. error. Otherwise working well. Factory Data Reset didn't fix it.

I think it's safe to say that you didn't do any of those things then. :) No need to try the docks on CM10.1 - they won't work. Hopefully soon, however.
