Hey hash. Love the rom man. Only one question. Do you have a flashable zip that gets the stock jellybean keyboard back. Me and my buddies agree that it is way to small and would love the one that comes with stock jb. Thanks in advance!

had GPS on 05/02. Updated to 05/03 but it was buggy and rebooting for me, so reverted back to 05/02 and now no GPS... All the old tricks haven't worked. Still trying a few things like fixing permissions and clearing cache and Dalvik... Funny thing is that neither build seemed to touch the GPS (nothing in the logs).

Had this happen to me about a week ago switching aokp. Lost gps on all roms, including ics and stock slot 246. Wound up fxz'ing over the weekend. Tried for days trying to get it to run. Not suggesting you go that route , just letting you know. Works on all slots now.

In frustration (and in wanting to play) I removed maps, installed Bytecode's kernel, and voila! Not saying it's the kernel but maybe it just had some bad data in that space that needed rewriting. I also fixed permissions before flashing the kernel, so that could have had an effect too. Not good science by changing more than one variable, but I got GPS back and can overclock as well!

lol you know i was thinking about that... a co-worker got one recently. The damn thing is so big you can use it to surf with lol. but i have big hands i could use it but i think 5" would be more ideal. I have looked at it closely but the dual core is just not going to cut it for me I don't think. The rumor for the Note 3 is 5.99" screen!  damnit lol

haha they should make a note 3 mini with 5" screen but all the reg note 3 specs!

is the Size the Issue or the Size of the Keyboard?

If its the Keyboard...Try A.I. Type Keyboard Plus...

I Guess Size Does Matter when handling a Bigger Screen...Wow!!!

Its Bubba...."Stubborn In Your Bones"

Question:

Has anyone had success with these ROMs and 1)Car dock / Car dock app (Moto features?) 2)Home Dock 3) HDMI

Pretty sure you need a Moto Blur-based ROM for this. CM10.1 isn't one of those.

Anyone try the 5-08 nightly? I noticed the change log shows a lot of new stuff for OMAP and Motorola. Is it worth it?

New nightly isn't a nightly - it's RC.

Out of curiosity, did you ever FXZ using RSDLite on the stock ROM? My phone won't recognize either the desk dock or car dock. Another poster on a different forum lost dock functionality immediately after flashing FXZ to 246, and that is the one common denominator in our respective systems.

I installed 5/8 and was prompted to upgrade to the release candidate. It's like having Christmas two days in a row.

What makes it being a RC a big deal?

Kinda wondering the same thing. Especially with the empty changelog. Does it mean it uses a completely redone base or did they just slap rc on the 08 nightly?

Doesn't being a RC mean that ALL bugs are worked out? Or am I thinking about it all wrong?

RC is a significant milestone for the ROM. It means that the development of the version is stable enough for widespread use. It does not mean there are no bugs. It would be naive to think that about any software. Continued development will occur and nightlies will be published, but RC is a strong indication that it's a solid package.
