I have 4G on 4/29. not using bytecode kernel.

Sent from my XT875 using Tapatalk 2

I had 4G on the 4/29 build but after a few hours, everything became laggy and slow. I reverted back to the 4/26 build which seems to maintain fluidity and smoothness.

I had no lag on 4/29, nor on 4/30,except when I tried bytecode kernel, which made it unusable.
I wipe cache, dalvik cache, and system each time I install.

Just updated (via CM Updater from 4/29 Targa 10.1 nightly with ByteRom Kernel - I had no 4g  ) to the 4/30 nightly 10.s Targa stock and I now have 4g again :). And a super schweet/ snappy bionic.

For some reason with the 4/27 nightly every sound works except the alarm. Third party alarms don't work either. With my phone being my primary alarm clock this is a bit of an issue. The alarm will go off but won't make any sounds or vibrate, just give me the notification after 10 minutes that it automatically shut off.

I have Alarm Clock Xtreme and all my alarms have been working on the 4/27 build. Timer and scheduled alarms. Maybe check the alarm volume in your settings?

Here's a first for me... Audio dropped while using headphones on 4/30 build. I unplugged and no sound from the speakers either. Sometimes happens on BT for media but never on headphones. With BT I can go into the settings for the BT device (under BT settings) and toggle off then on for media audio and it comes back. I can't mess with this today so I'm switching to stock but will try the next build when it's out. I may go back to 4/20 or 4/26 which seem to be the last builds that had anything OMAP or Moto specific changed and worked fine for me.

Same here 29 & 30 have been rock solid. I just update through the cmupdater.

Every once in a while this happens to me. I loose sound. Every time I just go in and re wipe cache & dalvic and works flawlessly from then on. 4/29 & 4/30 have had better battery for me it seems.

battery life has been great! I was at my son's baseball practice for 2 hours the on 4/29 and it only dropped 2%. that's not an indication of regular use for me, but it's good to know that in standby mode it can last quite a while. (hotplug governor)

If you check the changelog (

), it looks like they snuck two additional changes to the 4/30 build after the original one compiled. I installed the first one and it is running just fine.

Ditto. I installed the one from the STS dev site for 05/01 and it won't boot. It stops right after the KEXEC buzz. I'll just wait for the next official nightly.

Query on governors:  Does anyone know how to install additional governors for this CM rom?  I have looked through this site and googled the question, but have yet to resolve the problem.  Additionally I tried Tweakerz and Motomizer without success.  Thus, I throw the question to the community and look forward to any assistance provided.  Thank you.

Having problems getting notifications with go sms, both in status bar and pop up. Test notification doesn't work either. Anyone else having this? Love the rom other than that btw.

If I'm not mistaken, you can't load up an app and have it add governors in the sense you're talking about. The governors have to be hard coded with scripts into the kernel. That is really the only thing i don't like about CM... they seem to have all the basic governors every other ROM has. I wish they would add pegasusq smartassv2 into the rom and add sio I/O scheduler too

I mean heck with Hotplug and deadline combo I'm getting about 3% or a little less battery drain an hour with moderate use right now. That mean email syncing once per hour and jumping on the forums 2-3 times times an hour along with other sites. I came home today on 9 hours and still had 74% battery left. 45 min of screen time.

I'm not sure ill get better then that really but with other ROMs with smartassv2/sio that was always better then hotpug/deadline. It could be just that with this rom that Hotplug/deadline are the best combo for this. I don't know

Thanks for everyone's comments.  I did not know that the governors had to hard coded.  I asked since crossbreeder suggested smartassv2 as the governor.  It would be nice to see additional governors here.  That has my vote.
