Just a quick question:  Does this rom work with the JB update for the Bionic?  Personally, I could not install it through SafeStrap but perhaps I was doing something wrong?  Thank you for your thoughts.

Is there a way to get the Photosphere camera on the Bionic? Or is that a proprietary Google thing?

No, only panorama. Photosphere requires a gyroscope. Like on the Xoom:)
I am also having random reboot with the 4/16 10.1 JB    I am on the 4.1.2 OTA.

Happens with BT phone calls and also when screen goes off (Sleep)

Wiped cache and dalvik

Going back to 4/15 Backup

jp

Had same issue, tell you the truth I prefer the OTA at this stage, much more reliable, everything works, just doesn't have some of the 4.2 enhancements. Need to wait till kexec ROMs incorporate the new jb OTA kernel.

Yes, just make sure you take out Safe strap for the OTA, then reinstall it afterwards. You should be able to reload CM10.1 from your backup Nandroid In TWRP. If it doesn't boot, then erase and reinstall Slot-1.

ok I did an FXZ to .246 and protected root with Voodoo toa and everythign is fine but safe strap 3.05 and 3.11 will install but will not start. It says as soon as I try to open it that it has stopped. I checked root and everythign is working fine. I used root checker and i have root access. Any thoughts?

hmmmm I just tried to update binary and Superuser downloads it but then fails on gaining root access. So i guess its lieing to me.

I had a similar issue. Did you go to the voodoo ota app and restore root? That should do the trick.

Dude, you are looking on the Cm 10.1 side. You need to take the steps described in your Stock ROM or you will lose root.

Updated without a hitch and still have root. These are the steps I used while running the STOCK ROM.
1- updated SU binaries to most recent ones
2- downloaded update, make sure file is saved to external SD card
3- downloads voodoo OTA updater, protect root
4- remove safe strap. To do this, go to the safe strap app in the stock ROM and click uninstall safe strap.
5- shut phone off
6- while pressing and holding both volume buttons, press power button to boot into stock recovery
7- choose update from external card, find the update file, select update.
8- after updating, restart phone. Open voodoo OTA app again and click button to regain root.
9- Voila!

Good luck!

Looks like you may have missed a step. After you use Voodoo OTA updater to protect root, you must then click temp unroot, so that it keeps the backup that will be used to restore root access  . When you have JB installed, you go back to Voodoo to regain root.

I updated to the 4/16 nightly this morning and it's been causing all of kinds of problems for me. I went into SafeStrap (3.11), wiped system, cache, dalvik, then reinstalled the 4/16 thinking it might fix it. That didn't work. So, I wiped system, cache, dalkvik and installed the 4/15 nightly. That didn't work either.

I wiped ROM slot 1 and am currently re-creating it. I'll install 4/15 back into it along with GAPPS 3-3-13.

As a side note, I haven't decided if I'm going to update the stock side or not. I've been using CM10.1 for my daily driver for months now. If I'm reinstalling this stuff on my SLOT 1, would it be a good idea to go ahead and update the stock side to 4.1.2 or just wait and it later?
