I would usually be updating right around this time a day, but yesterday night my bionic crapped out on me, and I think this time it's for good. lol
I'm dying inside.

4/1 is the 2nd or 3rd build to become unresponsive while it's idle and the screen is off. I try to turn it back on but only the bottom buttons light up, nothing on the screen. Forced to do a battery pull. What's weird is the hardware lights come on just fine but the screen doesn't respond at all.

I saw that on one of the other builds and what seems to have fixed the problem is to delete the Safestrap slot 1, recreate and then do a clean install. I know it's a PIA, since I did that, things have been running much more smoothly.

Cheers.

Quick question, is there a way to get voice recognition to work with CM 10.1? I've tried to use this to enter text messages on several different builds using both the phone and my BT headset and always get the same error message: "Recognizer not present". I've also tried using the stock keyboard as well as Swiftkey with the same results. If I switch back to either stock or Icarus, things work fine so I'm guessing there is an APK missing or not working. Any ideas?

Cheers

@mat, no issues here with voice search via navigation or SwiftKey with trxt. Don't know about BT. Try disabling bt. Have no idea if it will help. Just guessing

Has anyone tried using Google Voice? I am on the 04/01 nightly It does not seem to work when I make a call. Usually, I have the phone set up where Google Voice asks me everytime if I want to use it or not, when I say yes, it attempts to use Google Voice and then fc's.

Usually when I have that issue I fix permissions from the advanced menu in safestrap. Then if that doesn't work, I go to Settings > apps and clear data and cache in Google Voice and set everything up again. That's usually fixed the problem when I have issues with Google Voice.

The 4/1 build seems to be an April Fools build. My touchscreen is not responding as one would expect. I did a full wipe (new slot/ wipe cache, dalvik, system) before installing it. Trying to paste my wifi password into the setup field is entering characters I'm not hitting. Trying to drag icons from the app list to home screen is opening things I haven't clicked on. Etc. Wiping cache/dalvik at that point didn't seem to help. Back to stock for now.

I loaded 4/1 last night and everything seems to be rocking along just fine.

PRD I was on 3/23 up until last night. Occasionally I'd get that "sending...." with MMS but a reboot usually fixed it. Seemed like it would usually happen if I included text in the mms. So I resorted to sending just the picture. Then any words in a seperate text.

I should have a signature here...somewhere.

Hey Hash, I hit you up on Twitter about this problem. I am a GSM user under AT&T and from ICS leak to most CM/AOKP roms, I am able to get GSM/HSPA+/MMS/Voice/Data working with no problem what so ever. However when i go to edit the Build.prop (3 of them) and reboot the phone, i have a problem that i have not been able to fix.

First thing, i can not pick up incoming phone calls. I can hear the ringer go off, and see on the screen some one is calling, but i get a Force Close that pops up everytime.

The same thing happens every time i make a call, it FC's when i hang up.
(com.phone.android has crashed)

If there is any suggestions you or someone could give, i'm willing to try them. The true reason i want this rom fully working is one: to be on 4.2.2. and the stock cam looks nice, takes much better shots than the 3rd party. and 3rd, no graphic tearing!

I beleive they already discovered cheap chargers were the main culprit on this issue.

4/2 just did the same thing. Here we go with the rom slot.

Ok, so I tried reboot, didnt work. I tried with and without text, didnt work. I am running 4/1 by the way. I decided to try a different SMS app (Go SMS) And it seems to work, so it may just be the stock messenger.

It even does it with my OEM charger sometimes.

My phone always seems to reboot when the battery gets pretty low (Around 30-40%). This wouldn't bother me TOO much as I know it is being worked on. Although, it is a complete pain to get it to boot back up. Sometimes it will boot to an all black screen and nothing happens. Other times I will get very weird vertical lines that show up on the screen. I usually have to hold Power+Vol Up+Vol Down to hard reboot many times before it eventually boots into the ROM. Is this normal? It has happened to me on all builds from 3/22-3/30.

Definitely not normal. I would erase your slot and recreate it. Then reinstall the rom and see if that fixes it.
