3/23 nightly is up!

Dirty flashed it..seems VERY snappy and faster than the prior build. Still testing. Boot up was faster and no black screen.

I may try a total full wipe to see what that does..but so far so good.

I ended up going back to the 3/16 build because the later ones I tried had major battery drain. I don't remember which build, but one day I had about 47% left after only 2 hours. I would love the flash fix, but does anyone know what the battery life is like?

Does JB (or CM?) have a car/home dock app, or is that something the manufacturers build and load before we get the phone? I ask because I use a dock in the car and at home and when I'm in CM nothing happens when docked.

Anyone have any recommendations for decent dock apps? I tried several and didn't find anything great.

I use car/home Ultimate. Works well. However, need to turn it on manually. BT still a problem, however, I get a low signal strength warning and the car speakerphone cuts out. Have to then use headphone Jack.

Hash posted on twitter he has flash fixed. Will be in next nightly. Also stated he realized conservative governor missing in all droid builds. Considering adding. This is good.

No conservative governor yet, on 3/23 build from today. May have added Hotplug, which I didn't notice before. Anyone notice that when you load a new nightly, the min and max frequencies go back to 300 even though you have 300/1200 set?

Is there an "official" release, or is it all still just the nightlies? I'm wanting to give this a go, but don't want to keep flashing a new rom every day...

That would take all the fun out of flashing Nightlies. You don't have to update if you don't want to. If you want a relatively stable build, try the 3/19. Then if you want update every week.

3/23 is nice. 3/21 was the buggiest for me so far but 3/23 is smooth again. Idk about everyone else but builds before 3/21 I actually got pretty decent battery. Better than most ROMs I've flashed. Made it threw almost a full day. Usually charge at least twice a day.

Thanks for the great work Hash n DH!

FYI: CM Official/Stable versions are run once a month after the 1st.

The development cycle resembles this:
1st of the Month: start releasing M## stable release
After release, then devs are encouraged to get in and make their larger "breaking" changes
Around the 15th of the month, we should change tunes and begin putting the pieces back together again
And finally as we approach the 1st of the month focus on major bugs which might prevent the daily use of the ROM.

Of course on the Moto side specifically we're playing a HUGE amount of catch-up due to the new release of the kexec kernel.

I hope to make the 1st of the month "stable" target... but don't hate me if it doesn't happen. It might be a nightly that we "ear mark" as a nice stable version to fall back to later.

Thanks HC for making an amazing ROM ahead of the JB Bionic OTA! Noticed 2 issues in this ROM as of the 3/23build, 1.Speakerphone mic and 2. Bt connection still weak. Although, Bt seems to work for a little while and then cuts out. In the car, I get a "phone signal is low" warning from my car BT connection whenever I use it, then the Bt connection cuts out and I need to use the headphone jack or lose the call. Is there a known fix, or is this a Rom issue (which I think it is) that you still need to address?
Thanks, :)

I am currently running the 3/23 nightly. Had an issue yesterday where I got the GPS and Navigation to work for a while, but when I tried to change the destination using voice the Navigation app crashed. After that, GPS wouldn't work again without two restarts.

I haven't had a phone call on this build yet, but the previous builds had issues where sometimes the screen would go black and nothing would work but a battery pull. The navigation buttons were lit up though.

Aokp 3/23 out on sts. Has dhacker kernel 3.031 seems to eat batt a bit more than 3/23 cm. Could just be aokp always burns hotter than cm. Has all the same tiny, to me issues as cm as well as all the same kickass ness.

Yea, I'm running it now, confirmed that the Speakerphone mic still does not work, as in the CM10.1. Don't know about the BT issues, but I suspect that they are the same. It will be interesting to see how this kexec development lines up with the 4.1 ota that will probably come up in April.

Any body look at the 3/19 CM 10.1 test build that has dhacker's kernal #2? its on STS and Androidhosting, as well. Dosen't look like they used it on the Nightlies or the AOKP build. Curious?

Are you referring to what I think is dhacker's aokp_targa_unofficial_Mar-23-13 or similar that he released lately?

I can't find much info on it and would love some more details if you have some? Sorli...
