Dirty install of 3/21 yields very poor battery life. Any one else observe this behavior?

3/21 did restore ability to turn bluetooth off when not in use with easy restart and reliable connections.

I stuck with 3/20 just to give my phone a couple of days to adjust, but battery drain still there. I have to charge my phone twice a day now. Getting used to it. Other observation is it takes at least 20-30 seconds after reboot to acquire 4g.

I did a dirty flash of both 20 and 21 and battery life seems pretty good and in fact has seemed good since the 3/17 build. Of course, I'm on an extended battery and using WIFI at work so that could be the difference.

4g and stock battery. No extended time to acquire 4g after reboot?

I'm on 3/21 and I'm wondering does anybody else's gallery force close after a period of time? The camera works fine just when I go to gallery it force closes

bout to try 3/22 but yeah those LG tone headphones seem to be the best. I mostly take phone calls by using the actual device so the mike isn't an issue. Weird to hear that some bionics have no problem with GB or ICS whine. I did get my bionic at launch but so did a lot of other people that report no whine. IDK, what's the procedure at this point for getting a replacement. Tell them I lost it? pay the 50 dollar insurance fee? Do they even stock bionics anymore?

Also today on 3/21 I noticed it took awhile for 4g to come back after boot. Still under a minute though so not really a big deal. Anyone have trouble installing 3rd party apps? I have checked the right box in the security settings but it still won't allow me to select the "install" option. It doesn't stop me from attempting to install it as it would normally if the box was unchecked; i.e. bring up a prompt telling me the phone blocks 3rd party installs. I remember this happened on 3/20 but after a reboot I was able to install. No such luck on 3/21 though maybe I'm missing something.

3/21 has been very glitchy. When someone calls the screen goes black and I have to do a battery pull. I've wiped cache(s) twice and still happens & speaker phone glitch won't go away (They can't hear me)

I haven't tried the speakerphone but I haven't experienced anything like that first bug on any of the builds. I would use the top four wipe options (cache, dalvik, FDR, system) when going between nightlies, install the rom, then install gapps. If you have problems after doing all that I would be really surprised.

3/21 installed here too. Yes I had the black screen & had to pull battery to reboot after a phone call. Seems better after a couple reboots & letting it settle down as I had it restore my apps from Google.

I really like 4.2.2 a lot. The biggest thing for me is the mic/speakerphone issue & sending MMS but at least I can work around it.

Hash posted on twitter he has flash fixed. Will be in next nightly. Also stated he realized conservative governor missing in all droid builds. Considering adding. This is good.

I really like 4.2.2 a lot. The biggest thing for me is the mic/speakerphone issue & sending MMS but at least I can work around it.

I thought the sending MMS bug was fixed a while ago...? What am I missing? Not trying to be a shlong but I don't know what the issue is?

Was just about to post this... this is extremely excellent. Wonder what happens when bionic jb OTA drops, since it will be 4.1 and this is 4.2... bionic is not going to be upgraded any further...

Is there an "official" release, or is it all still just the nightlies? I'm wanting to give this a go, but don't want to keep flashing a new rom every day...

This is an official build of cm 10.1
And there should be a M release with the next M build that cyanogenmod releases. No one knows when that will be.

But you don't have to keep updating with every nightly.

I know it's official, but i mean in terms of "here is our stable release" and "here is the release we keep updating every day"

Well there is no stable release let. Won't be until the next cyanogen M release. But you can just use the nightly you have installed until then just because they keep updating does not mean you have too.

I usually wait a bit until they fix something important before updating nightlies.

perfectly content here with the 3/17 nightly. no bugs except sometimes the sound wont work but quick reboot fixes it. great job!
