For those of you worried aboit data you can add a line to your plan for $5 a month and then add that phone to your unlimited and your old phone to your "new" line. Keeping your unlimited

just want to make sure i understand this... you're saying that with VZW you basically just add a new line to your plan (which would have a cap, 2gb probably), and then put the new phone on your unlimited plan?

that's a pretty hilarious loophole. hard to believe VZW hasn't thought of this and/or done something to stop it..

EDIT: there's no way it's $5 a month. More like $15. $5 for the new line, $10 for the lowest data plan + whatever for your new subsidized phone. Over 2 years you're pretty close to the cost of just buying the new phone outright and being able to upgrade whenever you want.

Has anyone seen an issue with the notification bar not responding? I saw this problem this morning after I removed the phone from the charger cradle. I had message notifications showing but couldn't get to the pull down menu. I could open up the app and the other functions seemed to work so not really sure why that happened. I'm also seeing a problem with the ROM disabling BT and not allowing me to reenable it even with a reboot (it boots up disabled) unless I do a cache wipe, then it boots up with BT enabled until it randomly disables it. I'm currently on the 3/18 build and did a factory reset and full wipe prior to installing.

I flashed the 3/20 build, and started getting the Camera FC issue. Tried all the tips here, same thing.

Then I wiped everything and went back to the original KEXEC build with working camera, which i had used several times with 0 issue.... suddenly now I'm getting the same issue with THAT build! It's beyond me how the same build can provide different results when flashed.

On 3-20 and no camera issues here aside from not having flash. Removing the old photos from the dcim folder fixed the issue for me. When I copied the pictures back in this folder, the FC came back so I just moved them to another folder.

I tried removing old photos from DCIM, then cleared app data, then rebooted and cleared cache/davlik and still get the FC shortly after it opens.

EDIT: crap. Just found another DCIM folder with 4gb of pics in it. That must've been the issue.

Anyone able to get the cLock widget to show F instead of C? I unchecked 'use metric' and nothing changed.

Has anyone else had a problem with their 3G/4G signal strength on the new kexec CM.1 build? I've been using the old CM10 build but wanted to check out the new kexec kernel so I installed the 3/20 build yesterday. I originally flashed over my old rom, but had too many issues, so I did a clean install. I'm loving the rom so far, the camera works perfectly and I'm not getting any FCs but there's one thing acting up on my phone; my signal is weaker than it used to be. In places where I never have had any connection issues in the past, it's now showing few or no bars of 3G or 4G service. Anyone else having that problem?

I had a problem with that. Turns out it just wasn't updating because GPS took so long to acquire and wireless data hadn't started updating yet. If you tap on it, it should update.

May be because of kanged kernel. Hard for me to test b/c signal is so weak in my office (no, no unencrypted wifi available) that it drains my battery pretty quickly, even the extended.

Well on build 3/18, it actually seemed to hold 4G longer for me out in the sticks but it's pretty hard to tell without monitoring it for several days due to all the variables associated with cellular signals.

OK silly question here but what apps do the GApps actually flash? After installing everything I noticed that I was still missing gmail, maps and stuff like that.
I guess I just assumed that gapps would include all that.
ROM is great so far. Installed the 3/20 and no problems.

If using the latest gapps for 4.2.2, it does not include gmail and any other apps found in the play store.

i think they dont include some of those cause they're updated so often that it makes more sense to grab the latest from the play store.

I also got my camera fully functioning by removing all my old pictures off of my phone (thanks thomascj). The only other issue I was noticing with the rom was that after leaving it in sleep for a long time the phone would come back sluggish almost like the governor wasn't kicking in the cpu higher or something, but that seems to be gone now with the later builds. I don't use Bluetooth ever so I don't have any issues to report with that.

So I'm happy to report that I'm now %100 percent satisfied with my phone for the first time since I've gotten it. At least in my daily use. Project Butter is the only feature I was missing that i honestly felt that I "needed" on my phone. I'll probably never buy a Moto phone again, but thanks to Haschode and Dhacker this last year and a half I've never regretted purchasing this phone. Once my paycheck comes in I've got some donations to make.

Also, if you enable the developer menus in settings and enable Developer Options->Force GPU Rendering, your display will run so damn smoothly in every app it'll be like you just bought a brand new phone.

gonna try 3/21 been on every nightly since 3/16 but still have audio whine. Someday I'm gonna plug my headphones into a phone and it's not gonna cause horrible headaches. I really hate moto and vzw for not implementing the fix from .893
