I mentioned earlier how my phone became choppy with the 3/16 build after heavy use. I'm going to go to 3/17. Has anyone else had that issue?

I'm not seeing anything amazing about this. It looks like your losing ~2% an hour while idle. This is as bad a battery drain as I've ever seen

I've had anywhere from 3% to 6% an hour on various roms so 2% would be at least a 30% increase in battery for me. Unless you use Tasker to lock down your phone or put it in airplane mode I'd say it's pretty good. I don't do any of that though because I want to use the phone with no restrictions which is why I got an extended bat. GPS always on, always on 4g, and everything syncs at least once an hour or pushes.

What am I missing on the install? I followed the instructions in the OP; I've put it on slot one: Factory reset, wiped caches, installed ROM and Gapps, using the 3/17 nightly. Wen it reboots, it vibrates then remains on black screen. I've tried twice now.

Edit:

I attempted again, this time in addition to the factory, dalvik, and cache I also wiped the system. The ROM is booting now.

The dark theme in messaging doesn't seem to be active. I have it set but it's still in white. Is this a known bug, or am I missing something?

I saw someone else post about this earlier, but for the life of me I can't find it now. I did a full wipe (and have since even completely removed and recreated slot1) and installed the 3/18 nightly. For whatever reason I can't get gapps to show up. I have tried both the correct version (per OP), and the "alternate" version that has been posted since. I flash them from safestrap, reboot, and I still don't have any gapps.

Have done this several times now to no avail. Thoughts?

OK I'm on 3/17 and seeing some bsod and freezing up needing a battery pull. Not sure if its ROM or phone since it recently survived a dunk in a (clean) toilet. But that was a while ago and all seemed well. Also some of my widgets data like starbucks don't survive a reboot.

I'm dealing with the 39 to 18 drop I saw on my Droid X. I just live with it.
